FFXI account update ?

I have just been given my friends account (an EU account) but i have a US version of the game and am having trouble finding a way to update the payment details.
Is there a way to update without having a EU version of the game?
Any help on this would be great

I do not believe so. I have to call my buddy in New Zealand up any time I need him to update payment info on the account he gave me when he quit. If you have registration codes and all that relevant information you *might* be able to call the Playonline info center and tell them you started with an EU client but moved to the states and reformatted/reinstalled with an NA client, but I've never tried that myself.

Download the EU POL for Vista/7, install it(make sure to select ANOTHER folder than your own US client) and it will allow you to update payment informations.

Ya unfortunately that's the only way to edit information. But ya just get the EU POL from the FFXI EU site.
