BG Opinion: Neighbors parking near driveway and pissing me off! (angry face)

So for the past 2 months, each day I have come home from work or left the house past 2pm, my neighbor has parked their giant ass white van less then a foot from the mouth of my driveway. On the other side is another van so pulling out of my driveway is a pain in the ass. Anyone else have a neighbor like this?

What pisses me off even more, is my street is basically empty for parking, they could park anywhere, even on the other side of their own house behind the second van, yet they park right by my driveway.

My mother runs an at home daycare. Overtime my old teacher back in middle school, who lives in our neighborhood, got upset whenever a mother comes to drop/pickup their kid by parking on the driveway between our house and another's house (it wasn't even her house) so they could go through our fence to the basement where the daycare was in. She claimed it was "blocking traffic" when the whole drop/pickup took less than 3 minutes. She complained to the neighborhood group or whatever you call them that controls what goes on and they seemed to nearly favor her. One day my mother spoke to her and my old teacher eventually caved in and dropped the whole thing.

I wonder if you could something similiar.

I don't live next to some decent people you can just talk to, I live in welfare central of NY and my neighbors are both white trash on either side. (Talking the kind of white trash with shit piled up on their lawn, garbage thrown about and other shit)

The last time me or my gf saw that neighbor they flipped out and swore at us about our dog, who was doing his business on our lawn. Yelling that they better not find dog shit on their lawn....their lawn consisting of...well they actually don't have a front lawn. It's a sidewalk and then the small bit of grass to the curb.

That's not even remotely the same as what im talking about. Their van is parked there from 2pm onwards till I wake up at 8am. I run errands a lot during the day and having two giant vehicles on either side of my driveway while I try to get out of my driveway is a pain in the ass.

I guess maybe I could give them a case of Pabst and some roadkill as a sign of good peace.

"Accidentally" hit their car on the way out. If they find out it was you, just say that it was an accident from them blocking your car for standing on your parking spot.

Either that or hire some kids to key their car every night.

Depends on where you live but there are laws about how far you have to park from driveways (even your own), you can get cops to come ticket them if that's really how you wanna go about it.

Not sure where you live, but in WA you must be more than 5 feet of a driveway, alley, private road, or area of the curb removed or lowered for access to the sidewalk. There should be a similar rule in your state.

Learn to reverse out of your driveway? As long as they're not protruding into your driveway, I don't care how close they are and how big of an SUV you have, you should be able to back out. My Envoy has 5% tint over the stock 20% tint in the back and I can still reverse out of long driveways with no problem.

Was going to say lol, my neighbors did the 'sneak a note' shit onto my car when it was in disrepair and making noise due to me having a rough time finding work and having no money to get it fixed, they left an incredibly arrogant note stuck on my car due to me being the only one in the court who doesn't drive a Lexus SUV or some shit instead of just coming to talk to me like a normal human being, if it wasn't for the fact that the lady who did it(she signed it anonymously as 'the neighbors', but we knew exactly who did it) wasn't currently at her house she would have gotten the living fucking tar beaten out of her by my mother, who I had to restrain from wrecking the front of the lady's house.

Just saying, leaving a note makes you look like a cunt, if you can work it out in person that'd be much better.

I dunno, I think that as long as it's not actually blocking the driveway you're not going to get very far on this one. As long as you can get your car in and out of your driveway that is. I know some people where I live have people parking cars across the end of their driveway all the time and they have to get the cars towed, but if they're not past the end of the curb they can't do much.

They aren't blocking you. They aren't hindering your ability to get in and out of your driveway. You don't have a leg to stand on. Keying their cars doesn't do shit because as you said they are white trash. So it's not like they would notice any additional scratches on their precious 89 Ford conversion van. Hate to say it buddy but you're pretty much fucked for now. I'm in a similar situation albeit without the super white trash people. My situation has wanksters and their fat white bitches.

In the city, call the cops. I dunno how they are upstate in general, but if the PD in your town is kind of aggressive, call and complain. Have a squad car come and check it out, that way you can determine whether or not it's ticketable or towable. Before you go deal with the people. They do the same shit here at my house, park on or near my driveway when the whole block is clear, but I live across the street from a restaurant and it's usually people who park and go inside. So to be an obnoxious cunt I'll sit there and spam the horn till they come move it, or call the cops and they come give it a ticket. I wouldn't talk to the people at all. They are doing it to you because they think they can get away with it. That's one thing I can't stand is people who park on my driveway because it's convenient.

News flash, people will avoid conflict as much as possible, especially with strangers. More than likely he'll do it or ignore you, either way the worse case scenario is he pretends to care and does nothing in which case you can then try alternatives. You don't need to call the cops or anything, Jesus. You people are fucking ridiculous, some dude parks within a foot of your driveway and you're calling the cops? That is really worthy of involving law enforcement especially since you haven't even tried to resolve it like an adult. Okay.
