My condolences, there's nothing that beats the thrill of getting a package filled to the brim with illegal pornography through a customs office inhabitated solely by female office workers.

No one is reporting on it because it's a totally irrelevant bit of trivia, seeing as how these sorts of restrictions come and go on a regular basis. The only reason anyone cares this time (and the only people who care) is because of japanophiles leaping to conclusions and outrage (see: OP article).
