I like the RNG, BST, BLM, and PLD most. MNK's body is pretty nice looking but the rest of the set is somewhere between pathetically dull and horribly ugly so that's too bad.

That's what I was thinking. Of course SE could have completely went a different direction with the success of abyssea, but you never know. Funny thing will be when they release a second set of craftable mats you'll need as the final ToM for them, and it'll be imp. wootz ingots all over ^^

what if, at 99, to get your super body with stats so good you wont need to gear swap, you need AF1+1, AF2+1, AF3+2, and Salvage pieces, along with 10k dyna currency, 10k alex, and 500k curor. Basically make everyone do all the old content at lvl 99 all over again, only with less ppl (6 in dyna, 2 in salvage{lowered entry requirements}).

Also why the hate for the MNK Dragon Pants? Everyone thought they were cool when the mages got them from ASA, and I even remember people asking why MNK didn't get them...

I don't like the COR stuff - it's getting TOOOOO into Captain Hook territory for me now, and it lacks frills, ruffles and if it doesn't have the splendidly total slutty look that AF1 and 2 have on Hume F I'm going to be most disappointed (it's the hat that's OTT)

RDM - ewww... BRD strangely gorgeous, like the WHM coat (it's the baggy bit at the top of the pants that annoys me)... really like the SMN body just wish they'd kept the legs with the same flares that AF1 and 2 had. I like the MNK dragon pants! I also really like the RNG set - it's all GI Joe. Quite like the BLU body - it just doesn't work with those ridiculous white opaline/hooker/manthra pretending to be a chick boots.

What I'm curious to see is this: it still was mentioned that existing armor would be upgradable via the ToM system...since Artifact and Relic were not the penultimate sets for each job, I'm still curious to see if Salvage Armor is going to get the chance to be upgraded....imagine the shitstorm if it becomes so.

Would explain why Salv gear is still in the Bonanza as rank 1.

Main reason why I didn't get into the AF3 thing yet, fuck making it +3 or +4. I hope it stays at +2. Then hopefully at 99 we get +1 Salv gear, so I can skip the whole AF3 stuff (for the record: I don't expect SE to outdo AF3, but who knows).

Because there is no dragon on it! Mages should have gotten the shit flame pants. Dragon pants for MNK would at least make fucking sense.

Not to pile on the revive Salvage gear wagon, but they do need to do something about Salvage else new Mythics will be hard to come by due to lack of Alexandrites.
Or just provide a completely new source for Alex drops.

My post is far from QQing. I simply think that remaking salvage, dynamis, and possibly even limbus is something that is easily done and could have nearly the same effect on the playerbase as adding in a whole new battlefield. Their goal is to keep people playing (paying) while spending the least amount of money to do so. I also think it would be silly to believe that the developers are going to let this content just be completely unused while still taking up resources to remain in the game.

Even though I got my body cheap before anyone knew what the fuck salvage was, I still hope to get something new. I hate looking at the same shit. But they better add alexandrite to new shit. Really gay that it just comes from salvage, and really really really gay that they added it after my stopped going as hardcore as it used to.

This might sound crazy, but even if they never allow salvage gear upgrades, I would love it if they would just reduce the entry requirements. I've been wanting to solo that shit for years now, and the whole event is literally dead weight the way it is now.
