Yet they lost to two solid teams by a combined 10 points. I don't see how you can measure the quality of a team in wins and losses. I agree that you won the game through and through, a wins a win etc, but it doesn't judge much about the team. The lions are FARRRR better than their 2-7 record indicates, same goes for a lot of teams. The bills are better than their 1-8 record etc.

Because your own fucking team determines if you win or lose. Sure, if the Falcons were 7-2 against teams of infants than they wouldn't be as good as this 2-7 Lions team, but everyone is playing NFL teams week in and out. The Patriots got crushed by the Browns, who if you watched them beat the Steelers, really had no business losing to regardless of how good the Browns are now. Parity reigns. Getting "close" in a bunch of games but finishing with a shit record doesn't give you anything except a seat on the couch during the playoffs. The Bills are better than their 1-8 record? What kind of arbitrary bullshit is that?
