You even edited in an insult, lol.
Gah, I understand ebonics better then what you two are bickering about and i'm about as honkey as you get.
he missed about 16 games in 6 season. Now I'm not saying my man is cal ripken but worth a big contract? fucking yes
oh my god I was hoping you didn't notice! I mean why the fuck would anyone insult someone and hope they didn't notice!
mizzzz still room on this wagon baby we may not have the orton but we still got the jesus
Jesus resides on the team with the star on their helmet, sosry Calli.
Clearly
He doesn't slide and the style of play is just asking for trouble. He has had Leg problems in the past(granted not as bad as I originally thought) and at 30 its not gonna get easier. If the Eagles were smart they would franchise him and see how he plays next year.
just saying.
The Eagles are pretty smart, I'd put them in the same boat as the Steelers and Patriots in terms of franchises running well and making good personnel moves.
edit: guess I should note that I really think they will franchise him. if he doesn't play well next year they still have a pretty good backup QB.
I didn't say it wasn't. my point is the downside to that is you sign him to a giant long-term contract and he has health problems with a lot of guaranteed money still owed to him.
Any fan would take that chance because it not our money. They already got 12 Mil guaranteed to kolb and his contract don't expire til 2012.
well you can't really prove long-term health in just a franchise tag'd year either. He could just as easily stay healthy all year and then week 1 of the next year, tear his acl/mcl and be out for the year. I don't think giving him the franchise tag next year would have much to do with injuries; more to do with consistency. dude totally deserves a fat payday after he finishes this mvp season

Listen to this man, he is wise.
That's beside the point, would you give him a long term deal if you were the GM? Do you think Jacobs' deal looks good now? Vick, like most NFL players who rely on their speed/explosiveness/legs have a short shelf life. He's far less valuable if he can't get out of the pocket and run. He's great now, but giving him a long term deal and guaranteed money (that's the main thing) is incredibly risky.
