So, we've gotten two coaches fired. The only question now is, will Favre retire mid-week?

that depends if Frazier is going to bench him or not. I think he will walk before he gets demoted. Favre is just a prick like that.

The thing with Andy Reid is this: He made an incredibly tough, and correct, decision to name Vick the starter. That alone puts him in the running in my eyes.

I expect the former to happen this week, and hope the latter follows.

Of course Favre will try to play it off like "I thought it was time to call it a career, so Frazier had to go to the backup" but we'll all know that Frazier wanted T-Jack regardless and that's why Favre quit.

But I worry that Frazier will want to be able to say "I coached Brett Favre" and give him one more week.

how is it hard and incredibly tough to go with the better qb? the coaches job is to give his team the best chance to win, owners and contracts be damned. back when it looked like derek anderson was going to be the truth in cleveland they gave him a mega contract even though they had just dealt a first rounder for brady quinn. shit happens. texans spent an early pick on ben tate, prob gave him some nice money and then BOOM arian foster. you think foster gonna lose his job and carries next year? damn that

Incredibly difficult. You put all your stock into a QB all offseason, trade your 11year vet backing that QB up. Only to say no, we're going to go with the flash in a pan QB (at the time, considering the quality of opponents he'd started against), when you're completely healthy.

Raheem Morris...? his team has yet to beat anyone above .300 on the season, that's a joke

I do have to give him credit for the pitch play to McCoy on his TD run, what a great call that was.
If Tuck gets his hand about 5 inches closer and knocks the ball out of Vick's hand I wonder if you'd have the same opinion

Jason Garrett's playcall of Kitna naked bootleg for 29 yard touchdown was better, Lions D bit so hard on the hand off. God's warrior was untouched.

Tom Brady. you go with the hot hand. vick is the hottest hand of all time. its like if god set his hand on fire and put it on a black man. media and fans be damned. any coach worth his salt should put his team in the best position to win. the front office should understand that, thats part of the reason they hire said coach. why do you think chilly just got fired. brett should have been benched weeks ago.

If Avant, best hands in the league, didn't drop a sure TD, it would have been a laugher like last week.

It was a good play call, and Vick bobbling the ball probably helped with Osi comin in for the kill and not having that reach.

Other than the Giants game your other 2 wins have been vs some pretty worthless teams. But I mean, you guys are back. No question.

How many times can you say "if xxx hadn't happened to the Eagles it wouldn't even have been close" while simultaneously saying the Giants had things go wrong because they suck? GTFO with THAT shit, either luck plays a factor or it doesn't you can't have it both ways

Never said it wasn't a good play call, Giants always seem to give up a big play on a RB screen/option

Honestly if people just said "The Eagles were better and they showed it" I would have no beef. It's this asinine belief that if the winning team didn't drop a few balls, well they COULD have done so much better! But if the losing team made mistakes, well that's just a shitty team being shitty.
