    the world according to leroy:

wishing your team didn't make so many dumb mistakes = making excuses
saying the eagles would have blown out the giants if only they didnt drop easy passes = not excuses

I know he did. Believe it or not, I was watching the game too. He stepped two feet before the trainer pulled him back, and even then he didn't have to pull too hard.

I wasn't speaking to leroy when I made that post, so Idk how he'd be trolling me there.

I said long before the game was over that I thought the Eagles looked like the better team that night. I'm not afraid to admit it. I just don't think everyone should write the Giants off after one loss.

Vick scored one TD. The Giants did a pretty good job on him. McCoy on the other hand...

They were driving for a game-tying TD when Eli derpaderp'ed in unprecedented fashion.

Reid was dumb for relying that much on Vick - not only is it going to get him hurt but it reduces his effectiveness.

The game was bad and everyone who played should feel bad.

    Really Peyton?

According to a recent report by Sports Illustrated's Peter King, the Indianapolis Colts feel they are not quite alone in the visitor's locker room at Foxboro. King says he has "reliably" heard that quarterback Peyton Manning and offensive coordinator Clyde Christensen always step into the concourse hallways to discuss strategy for fear they will be overheard in the locker room.
"If you're outside the locker room Sunday, don't be surprised to see Manning and his first-year coordinator, Christensen, huddling for a few minutes," King wrote, listing the Manning-Christensen huddle as one of the top things he'll be watching for this weekend.

I gotta get a COME ONNNNNNNNNNNNN MAN!

I hope the Giants make the playoffs just so we can expose your weak ass offensive and defensive lines.

    Oh God this x1000!

I was thinking the exact same thing as I watched the game. I know Vick is god mode but don't use all his powers when you don't have to. They were getting away from their run game early on and I thought it was going to cost them in the long run by relying so heavily on Vick. When he fumbled, I was like "whoop there it is! They got Vick doing too much." Luckily for them, Eli wanted to see how the grass tasted in Philly and didn't require any help to get to the table. Giants blew it.

McCoy had 9 carries for 13 yards before he busted those 50 and 40 yard runs, both of which came off of misdirections. The Eagles were relying on Vick because the Giants are just good at stopping the run.

There's nothing wrong with them, they're just a little bit worse than the Eagles (who are very good).

Being in a position to send it to overtime and failing in that drive because of an absolutely boneheaded individual effort doesn't imply that there's "something wrong with the Giants" - it just reiterates that their QB is average and does dumb shit sometimes.

Pfft McCoy is so good that on 2nd and goal from the 4 they called for a QB draw

    ...except for on the scoreboard?

The giants were flushing vick out of the pocket and making him do things he didn't want to do. He scored 1 TD on them after scoring 6 the week before. The Giants played decently against him.

The Giants definitely looked like they belonged on the same field as the team dropping wide-open touchdown passes.

    is all i'm saying
