I would be more for this if the system itself didn't suck for this stuff. I'm running 980ti's and a 6700k I7, I turn off all the chars and put the settings all the way down, and still only get like 20 fps on BW. Matter of fact, i don't even get a FPS boost from lowering the settings..... So until they learn to fix whatever the fuck is doing that, large scale fights will always be shit.

At least make it so CRTL F turns off chars AND their moves. I can't even see the smaller mobs because of the effects that are glowing off of them.

The FPS thing wouldn't be so bad if things like BW didn't have a .5 sec to react to their moves or take 50% of your health in damage. Which would be impossible to do at 20 fps if he didn't have an easy attack pattern.

Edit: Also, being a SIN low FPS/ping can almost cut my DPS in half.....

And last rant.... i want the CRTL F to hide my faction, not all players. Nothing like doing those large scale things, and start getting your ass beat by the invisible player.

Game is pretty meh aside from graphics and a half decent combat system. Currently level 12-13 and will remain so forever.

On one hand I'm pleased they gave GG the boot since it had zero effect on it's intended purpose and likely caused giant headaches for autobanning legit players having to use VPNs to connect to their shitty servers.

Kinda depressed though since I was really hoping it was GG's fault for my constant disconnection issue but doesn't appear to be the case.

No idea. Skills got reset, so you had to reapply points.

Also beat all the content. Mushin Tower floor 7 can eat a bag of dicks. Sucks you have to perfectly execute for the Assassin full-stealth kill, especially when the server sometimes decides a skill isn't ready to be used.

Thanks for detailed response, thou I kinda knew that. When I said massive, I have hundreds of players in small area in mind. That would certainly crush the engine here, and I don't expect anything to change any time soon. Or ever

They opted for good (at least 2011/2012 good) graphics, effects and sexy stuff instead of more MMO-like direction, I'm fine with that, just not exactly my taste in games.

For those who don't know yet, BW got a substantial buff. His roar now does around 25k and he has 94m HP.

This was not mentioned in the patch notes for whatever fucking reason and oh boy was I surprised.

I wasn't a huge fan of some of the smiles the Jin females had so I tried to get her lips as neutral as possible with a "tough" sort of look for the rest of her.

Played a few on SIN (Both KFM and destroyers). They are not hard once you figure out they are bots, on sin at least. Mainly because you can bait their attacks, and they will walk right into traps. That said, i do enjoy the fact that my stealth is meaningless, and all my knockdowns and web don't keep them from turning, making it hard to use half my skill tree.

After i while, i think i've finally given up with the game (Besides playing with a few people on the weekend). I play vs bots more than players now (making PVP boring), and the dailies are just too boring to enjoy once you have done them 100 times (Standing around waiting for the last boss really needs to stop). I wouldn't mind it as much if this game didn't have an extreme economy based upgrade system, and that system is controlled by RMT. I don't enjoy doing F8 runs, because i seem to get a lot of AFK people who just stand around and let others do the runs for them, or attempt to change the loot right before the boss to steal the items. I even seen one person change the default bid to 10 gold to try and trick people into bidding by mistake.

I think i'm just getting to old for MMO stuff. It seems like a bunch of children trolling and bots all day every day. I keep trying these games hoping to recapture the magic of FFXI (I know, lol).

^Don't beat yourself up about MMOS, just adapt to them. The magic of FFXI was great, but there was a bunch of crap we dealt with it while playing too. B&S is free, play what you like and don't sweat the rest. I'm digging the design, fighting style, outfits and even interested in the story of all things. I'll drop the game when its done. Also not paying attention to global chat is a real brain cell saver. I haven't bothered in years.
