So, I left my PC on over night (custom built, about a 16 months old) and there was a power outage (no storm, just high wind I believe.) Well, I go to turn on my PC the next morning and about 5-10 seconds into Windows, my computer just freezes right up and I'm forced to reboot. Well, I tried about 10 times and it kept locking up on me.
I removed the video card and put in an older one, same issue. Finally, I removed the video card and just plugged my monitor into my on board video... and it boots up fine.
I'm at a loss, could it be the PCI slot that got damaged or something? I'm pretty much screwed, right?
