What exactly is the cleric having troubles with? I may be able to give some tips...

I don't know how far they've gotten the health down, but if you say quite a ways it makes it seem like the cleric may actually have the strat down. It might not be their fault, the dps can mess up that fight too. If the dps aren't jumping or doing an action to get out of invulnerability after rez fast enough, then the boss will use Midnight Wing, and that makes things a lot harder than when he does Threshing Wind. Don't know if that's the problem, but that'd be my first guess.

From what I've seen they have gotten it down to around 25% or less. I don't watch every fight too closely so it's hard to say where the blame lays. It could very well be the DPS not getting up and out of invulnerability fast enough. Usually it comes down to the Cleric will get SW aggro right after his raise goes off/just as the DPS are getting up. I know from listening to vent they are jamming the accept raise button as soon as it pops up but it still seems too slow.

Either the timing is just a little off and it's fucking everything or something else is wrong. The 25% part is not very often, the deaths usually come around 50%. But they've also not done SW now in quite awhile due to the static breaking up a bit (hence why I'm trying to level to 55 so I can fill the tank gap).

It could be the cleric's timing. The proper timing for casting the rez is as soon as stormwing starts to jump in the air for Threshing Wind. As soon as the cleric sees that animation start, they should start casting. If he uses Midnight Wind instead, the timing is still the same, as soon as he sees the animation begin he needs to start casting. It's harder to deal with Midnight Wind because it's a shorter cast time, plus it's only frontal AOE and SW tends to turn on us when he uses it and misses the group... Also the cleric should be using cast speed gloves and keep a cast speed scroll active the entire fight, it really helps a lot. After the cast goes off, the cleric should run back a few meters away from SW so that SW will move towards the group to make it easier on the group to pull aggro. After he sees SW switch targets from himself to anyone else, then he should run to the next loci position.

Between 30% and 20% SW will throw in a self buff into his skill rotation, that's the thing that looks like a blue bubble around him. Don't start casting when you see this, wait for the actual aoe. Just cancel the cast if you accidentally do start, I used to always get faked out.. lol I love this part between 30-20% because it gives me a lot more time to position myself.

A walkthrough of my routine would look like:
1) Target SW and move to 18m after he has stopped moving around.
2) Target first person that dies.
3) Watch for start of Threshing Wind/Midnight Wing animation.
4) Begin casting rez loci. Press tab while casting to target SW.
5) Step back a few meters after the rez cast goes off, watch for his target to switch to another group member.
6) Run to next spot in my triangle of loci places.
Repeat until he's dead.

Hmmm I'll pass the info along, it may be awhile till they do SW again unless they get a pug group to do it with them since they're missing a tank and a consistently logged in dps. I'm just hoping for some Templar golds at this point, Eternals are just a pipe dream at this point for me. It's been such a pain to get myself up to speed when my gear was pretty meh to begin with. I did finally land my sword and board set from Udas so that's nice. 3/4 of a level till 55 and my hopes at doing Besh can be filled and ultimately let down.

I'm still convinced that the NYE event borked the drop tables. It's all random though. A few pages back somebody mentioned a sorc who went 3/5 in one run and then, hopefully, died in a fire. It's been 14 months since my last staff drop.

Today we got eternal bow for our ranger, and a gold tank sword which we sold to a friend for 42mil. Got a few golds earlier too.

Vorpal Greatsword(atk speed) tonight, tank already had the non-atk spd combined with an atk speed debilkarim, but took this one as well. Not sure if he'll replace the combine or use it for another set.

Doing this regularly for over a month now we've only gotten two eternals running daily. Since the New Year's Event we've gotten 0-2 golds a run regularly and no eternals. We see the same people getting great drops every single day and selling them at high prices. Shit's getting tired.
