#5 Storm Wings (mine!), Vorpal Greatsword, & Stormwing Chain Greaves. Assorted golds/blues that don't matter
-
#23 - 2x blues, wings
nothing else.
Never have luck with instances >_> Even with 2.1 lol
-
#14 Storm Wings, Vorpal caster earring
My group is now 5/6 wings, won't be long and we can sell them :D
-
Nice.. we're only @ 4 storm wings with 23 runs. Still no sign of eternal legs or body thus far lol.

How are you guys beating SW on HM? I've watched my wife's group take him on multiple times and and they wipe a lot, I'm not 100% if they've beaten him on HM yet, especially around th 25% mark. Do you all just glitch him? Which apparently her group's cleric has been unable to do. Any explanation would be helpful. The group's gear is pretty good. Almost all of them have pretty close to full Besh sets and/or full Udas.

We use the loci method, and I'm the cleric so I can give a walkthrough for the fight from that perspective. This is what I wrote up for a guide for my legion:
Everyone but cleric start out rez sick and low health, cleric stay at Isbariya's spot while the rest of the group goes in and dies once.
Keep run scroll / cast scroll / cast speed gloves on the whole fight.
After pull when SW stops moving, position yourself to 18m.
Target a dead member and wait for him to jump into the air (Thrashing Wind), as soon as he jumps start casting loci.
Run away from SW a few meters to bring SW to the group, then run to the next spot 18m from SW.
Keep going in a triangle formation, I use 3 areas (black spot on the right side of the arena, rocks on the left side of the arena, and SW's platform). Don't get near the edge of the arena, it gives you less room to run away from SW at.
First one or two rounds he may not use the jump skill, you just have to time the rez on those. Usually the first time he will just melee all 5 people down in a row, start casting after the 4th person dies in that case.
If the group doesn't all jump out of invulnerability immediately after accepting the rez, he will use the aoe Midnight Wing instead of the jump skill, if you see him do this start casting right away as well. It's a shorter cast time than the jump, so it makes the cleric's job harder but you can still do it.
Starting at 30% he will start to put up a buff, it has an animation that looks like a bubble around him, don't cast yet when he uses that, wait for the jump. Cancel your cast if you start for the buff.

My regular group has only tried it a couple of times. We've gotten him to like 60% that way which isn't too bad for how few times we've tried.

#24 - Vorpal sword, 2x blues
nothing else again >_>

I've been thinking about making a form on google docs that people can put their BT HM drops into so we can track them and see overall drop rates... well, I already made the form, but I'm deciding if I want to release it. I'm just worried it'd be too much work for a lot of people so they'd just ignore it. :/ What do you guys think? I'll post the form here, let me know if you think it'd even be useful and if I should start passing it around...
https://spreadsheets.google.com/view...NKenc6MQ#gid=0
It's meant to be like filled out as you go probably, there are quite a few boxes to fill in for some bosses
-
The idea is good, but in its current format I don't think it would be user friendly enough for people to want to spend time on it. Personally I think changing it to a checkbox system if possible would make things quicker and easier.
For example
Boss Name
Skipped [ ]
No Gold/Eternal [ ]
Gold 1 [ ]
Gold 2 [ ]
Gold 3 [ ]
Eternal 1 [ ]
Eternal 2 [ ]
Eternal 3 [ ]
Eternal 4 [ ]
If somebody killed the above boss and got gold item #2, they just have to tick the 1 box for gold item #2, if they got nothing they just tick the 1 box that they got nothing, or if they skipped they just have to tick the box that they skipped.
-
Yeah, that's an easy thing to change. I did it with the drop down menu so that people couldn't pick multiple items from the same category, like someone couldn't say the assassin hat and the gladiator hat dropped on the same kill or something... But really the checkbox is probably better, and I'll just ignore someone's entry if they do something like the example I just said. I'll change it and see what you think.
Edit: Ok, I converted it to the checkboxes completely now
-
Nice :D
I won't do it for previous entries though >_<
-
Yeah, actually I'd prefer you don't do previous entries
It's likely people would forget something and throw off the data
Something that happened within the last day or so would be fine as long as you can recall it perfectly!
-
Where do you see the results btw?
-
Right now they're just going into a private spreadsheet that is made automatically with the form, but after I have some more results I'll make another spreadsheet to put the results in and post that.
-
Gonna list eternals only xD
#26 - Stormwing's chainmail
#27 - nothing
-
#15 Stormwing's Staff, Vorpal Spear, Vorpal Essence
oh shi-
We were so excited about the staff, we didn't even think to try to sell loot rights on the spear :< We just greeded it, and it turned into 2 L61's wooooo
-
Lol.. nice. Wish a staff would drop for us.. a chanter friend recently came back and now our besh static has 7 people
3x chanters, cleric, sorc(me), sm and sin. Thing is.. cleric wants staff too so 4 staves gogo?
Also.. I was reading the PvE discussion on the aion forums and this guy claims to have run besh 77x with only 1 weapon and 7 eternal armor pieces...
-
I saw that.. I mean, I guess that many runs is possible by now, but I do find it a little difficult to believe that they've done 77 runs. >.>
EDIT: New results spreadsheet at https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?...cG&hl=en#gid=0
Feel free to pass the links around to friends if they'd be interested in this!

Some people are saying the lowered instance timers screwed with the drop rate but I guess we'll find out now that it's over..
