I guess we didn't confirm you can do it three times yet, but we were playing around in the water after the run last night and it makes sense. We just did it twice yesterday, and plan to try for three times today. We have heard about doing it three times before, but I'll let you know tonight. ^^

3 eternal run (SW chain gloves dropped as well), and my group's cleric is now 5/5 SW chain set between the gloves and the mail. :D

1 run later, now up to a 2nd 5/5 SW set in my group with Dorakiki finally putting out for my group's sorc who had been waiting at 4/5 missing shoulders for about 3 weeks now.

I'm really jealous. I can't get my friends to agree to a reasonable hour to get online for Besh HM, let alone have enough time to really challenge SW.

So.. we were about to enter and we get superstitious so we have different people open the instance. Our SM hits normal mode and few of us already had the window open and we entered too quickly =/ No besh today =(

Made a new spreadsheet to show the results of the form that I posted a couple pages back. This spreadsheet takes out the replies where people skip a boss (to give accurate drop rates), and it also combines results from both the forms I had going.

lol I don't even run besh anymore, too tired of letting scrubs leech gear. I'll start running it again once me and a few friends find a cleric who wants to 4man hm. =/

SW is kinda hard without a full group. You wipe too fast.

Not really, all I need is two seconds to get a spell off (or just freezing wind)...and chanter/templar dying first would definitely buy the time needed.

With loci strat, 5 man is just as easy as 6, just takes a little longer with 1 less person dealing damage. 4 man should be doable as long as your cleric starts loci as the 2nd person dies in case he auto attacks the 3rd to death, and be quick to cancel and recast loci if he does go up in the air to do threshing wind.

Are you talking from experience? I've tried it with 4ppl and it was almost impossible, every1 dies too fast from auto-attacks and then he runs straight for the cleric without stoping to cast midnight or threshing. So we just got 2 more and finished it.

Could have been a bad cleric idk I pug, but it didnt look like there was much he could do.
If he casts loci too fast and misses 1-2 of us, it'll only be worse and dps will wipe even faster.

While I haven't done it 4man, I am the cleric in my group, so I can see 4man being viable. The cleric would have to work harder, though.

Each round stormwing will melee 1-3 people down before he does thrashing, usually it'll be 2 people. Because it can be 3, though, the cleric has to prepare for that by starting to cast after the second person dies. If he melees the last person down, then you're fine. If he chooses to aoe instead, then the cleric would cancel the cast and immediately start again.

And when you say that SW went straight for the cleric after melee'ing down the rest of the group... well that's just flat-out wrong. The only way that SW could go after the cleric without first casting midnight is if the cleric did something to get on his aggro table. When the entire group dies, SW resets, and then the cleric aggros him. SW -always- uses midnight wing upon being aggroed. He can't just melee everyone and then go straight to the cleric without doing his whole reset and aggro deal unless the cleric messed up.

Fighting this way would take forever, and there's no room for error... but it would be possible.

Ive been the cleric in a 4man HM SW. I never ran into him meleeing 3 to death luckily, but it was a concern. It did take forever though...
