I have heard of shit disappearing, but I keep dumping random shit (like a million iron daggers) on the ground inside of a town (Whiterun) and haven't seen any of it vanish. Just don't store it in a dungeon because when a new quest brings you through it, all the chests/items/mobs are wiped & refreshed.

edit: ^ yeah, I think you can rely on any chest that you are granted legal access to. For example, befriend certain people or earn certain authority in places and you'll no longer be considering "stealing" when you take their stuff, so the chests and whatnot are free to use. However, I raided and stolen everything in a shop before and found that they restocked all the shelves/counters/displays/strongbox later, so beware of that.

Question regarding armor. I'm playing as pure mage, just nuking shit. I want the best armor I can equip but enchant with magicka regen & destruction spell reduction. What's the best armor that can take those enchantments?

All armor can take those enchantments, the slot is what determines the available enchants, not the type of armor. I believe head, body, ring, and necklace are the 4 slots that take the % reduction enchants.

once I got my smithing to 100 and got some nice weapons/armor early in the game....shit was easy. Since I'm not a huge HUGE fan of the genre, and considering I didn't enjoy it as much as Fallout........6.5/10. Early game was intriguing and fun, mid/late game was boring and dumb.

Yeah, magicka regen is a pretty huge joke, totally useless. You can just stack reduction and have 2 free schools of magic at any given time. I personally run with free Dest/Resto and it's fun spamming Fireballs/Thunderbolts and healing to full while people wail on me with arrows.

For my dual wield guy, having a ring of 40% magicka regen helps a fuckton. Melees would get better use out of it, as you can put a big regen on a ring and be like "ok, I'm set for the two spells I have to cast before every other fight" without compromising too many other slots

And for that one Companions quest, when you loot the Hagraven's head off its corpse, the head disappears from its world model. Only time I've noticed it though.

I've noticed a couple times that if you get the slow motion death scene and it gives you the decapitation shot, the corpse will lose its head outside the scene as well.

lol that's what I'm in the middle of now, dude was all "drinking contest?" and I'm like fine, 2 minutes later I'm in the Skyrim version of hangover lol.

Once you get a house most weight issues are solved. You may end up in a dungon and have to worry about what to keep and not keep.

For the most part things like dragon bones will be the killer on weight.. once you can store them you are golden. Also, if you dont have a house dont be scared to sell them. By the time you can use them youll have a lot more.

Wish I would have realized that last part sooner, I've saved like all except 2 that I stashed in a dungeon somewhere when I found some loot that was too good to pass up heh. Just seemed like they were in a specifically limited supply based on however many dragons there are.
