I haven't played much in a while, has there been a patch yet to fix the random fps issue? Played it a lot but the fps drops were a little annoying

If you're on the PS3, looooooooooolno. Check the Eurogamer link and you'll see how fucking awful the fps issue really is.
If you have a PC that can "easily" handle this game, why would you ever buy it on a console? Honest question btw.
PCgame runs fine, then randomly fps craps out for 1 second then returns to normal. I put up with it for a while but was hoping it'd be fixed by now.
I always wondered how the fuck do you get married in the game? I made a bitch wood elf for my sneak/mage archer/dagger build for my 2nd playthrough. Can i marry a bitch as a bitch?
What an adorable Dovahkiin.
Apparently you can. I seem to remember Bethesda saying something about same-sex marriage a few months back.
I've just always been a console guy, that's really the long and short of it. Games like this that take hundreds of hours to enjoy the full amount of content I enjoy most when I can relax on my couch and not have to sit in my computer chair the entire time. Unfortunately I don't have an HDMI chord long enough to sit on my couch so I'd have to sit at my computer anyway for the time being, but it be worth it for the short time I'd need to get one considering how fucked this game is on PS3.
That and my computer is in the other room and weighs like 80lbs, and I'm moving it downstairs soon. Dragging the damn thing up and downstairs everyday isn't really going to be that appealing.
My save file is 11 MB and the fps crap only happens when I've been playing for 4+ hours straight. Save -> restart PS3 -> continue playing as normal. It's not like it isn't a problem, but in the grand scheme of Bethesda bugs if this is worth -30% off its review score then F:NV should get a 2/10 for deleting your save. But, since this is PS3 specific, the haters come out to hate.
It appears to affect most people, but Priran has a pretty good sized file (at which point it's supposed to lag) and he said his is fixed just by rebooting. I have 4.4mb file and I'm experiencing stutters similar that Eurogamer video. I'd say your chances are probably good it will affect you, but there's certainly a chance it won't or will be easily fixable. I don't hit 0.0 (or haven't yet, knock on wood), but I have persistent lag/stutter no matter what; even after rerolling my character it started within an hour or so into the game. I initially thought it was my PS3 since I was getting the problem at such a low game file, but I have no doubt my system is fine after checking several other games and movies.
More people are reporting over at Bethblog are saying they're getting full refunds from Amazon/Gamestop so I may have to jump on this while it's hot.
I'm at about 6mb and i get the occasional random stutter for like 1 sec every once in a while. but nothing different from any other big open world game. Meh, the biggest thing is starting over. about 40+ hours into it, level 25, barely done any story but tons of guild quests. For a game like this it's not something i would consider starting over
lol so they blame it on PS3 limitations? I am starting to believe the PS3 fanboys that this was a ploy to make the system look bad.
Yeah I'm playing it on the PS3 too, I haven't had too many issues yet other than glitching into the sky during that one daedra quest. I get a lag stutter every now and again but nothing major. I'm not sure that it matters but I'm using the original PS3 60GB with a 500GB HDD.
I actually experienced very little lag, and like someone mentioned before, only during extended game play. I reboot the game every now and then and it will run fine. I think my file is close to 11mb or so. That was before the patch... I haven't played too much after it, but I noticed some lag kicking in. Also noticed dead dragon corpse flail about on the ground.. they didnt used to do that.
To marry someone you often have to complete their little quests, the wikis have a good breakdown of who you can marry. My reccomendation would be the Atmer that owns the clothing shop in solitude because you'll get a cut of the store's profits, she's the only atmer you can marry and you can keep her in her house in solitude
I suppose the other choice would be to find someone in Morthal or Falkreath and choose to live with them, that way you'd get a house in those towns by proxy.
