Only catch? My order history has them placing the PS3 version as my one day order loool. That being said, with the timely response and the fact that I can return it still is going to make this easy for me to get the PC version at least. Really impressed they express shipped my other copy only to be here by tomorrow, but before I even sent them my PS3 copy.

wow, guess I chose right when deciding between PS3 and PC. was only considering PS3 because I wasn't 100% that my PC could push this game to the limit (it runs fine on ultra) and because I figured the PS3 version would be more stable (ha!)

add console commands and mods into the mix and yeah... no contest.

now to go FUS DO RAH every shop in the game and laugh at PS3 players

I'm only 25 w/ max sneak (60) and bow (70+) talents and I'm alrdy facerolling everything. Can't imagine how faceroll it will be when I/m maxed out w/ both

I dunno, constant 30x damage sneak attacks with shadow warrior one shots every thing. Maybe it's just because i have not maxed it out yet, but archery does not even come close to one shotting many enemies for me.

I'm an Assassin type. no magic, Sneak 100/Archery100/1 handed100 ... Mostly use my bow/arrow. Strongest Bow i have right now is about 310 Damage or so... I can get stronger, But I haven't bothered with Alchemy yet. Enchanting is ~90 ish, and smithing 100 though.

I find archery to be much... Safer, My dagger is Daedric (D:69 onry), Its wonderful, but being close kinda sucks in combat. I got shadow warrior and that is the most fun I've ever had killing people though.

I do love this game.

I'm on ps3. I have about 130 hours into the game and my save file is 13mb. I get VERY BAD lag that makes the game's combat pretty much impossible after only an hour or so of playing. The patch fixed it for about a day then the next day started getting lag again.

Misc comment, but that video reminded me that I do wish the Dragon AI was a bit more varied. I'd love to be able to take a swipe at one when it swooped down to bite at me, but they just don't do that. Dragons either Hover+Breath, Land+Breath, Land+Bite, or occasionally/rarely strafe over you+breath out of melee range. The dragon fights sorta start to blend together after the first 30 or so. Landing on buildings and in courtyards is really damn cool, and adds more depth to the combat, but I feel like there's so much more they could have done with them in the open field.

I was also hoping for more indoor dragons. The Skeleton Dragon in Labyrinthian was grossly underpowered compared to the dragons outside (I was able to stunlock/kill it in like 6 hits on Master mode as a level 17 pure mage without even using mana potions by dualcasting chain lightning with the Impact perk), and even then was basically in a large, wide open room with insignificantly weak adds (lolskeletons).

Don't take this the wrong way, I love the game and I put in 2 level 50+ characters already, but considering Dragons are the main focal point of the whole game I feel like they are left a bit lacking compared to the rest of the game.

Also, they're fucking ADD. It was funny watching a Giant beat down a Dragon the first time. It was all giggles when a hapless bandit camp got murdered by the Dragon I was slaying the second time. It was fucking aggravating when the Dragon I was fighting decided it wanted to ignore me and go pick on the Wolf 500 yards away when I had it down to 20% Health the 50th fucking time.

they also 1-hit kill you (special animation and all) if you get too close and are low enough on health! so... yeah, there's that.

Send an email that Skyrim on PS3 is defective and link them to a few articles:

well it happened today. I found myself resting my left hand on A, W, and D everytime I sat down at my computer at work today instead of A, S, D, F.

Not too far into the game, level 4 on Dragon Rising, and was roaming the jarl's house and accidentally stole the unusual gem from some bedroom. Now these god damn guards/npc's/the fucking jarl himself just constantly kill me, over and over. I spawn, basically immediately die; repeat. I can't drop the thing because it's for some quest, any ideas what to do here? Can't load a previous save, not one remotely close to me.

edit: managed to search around, took me a while but finally found a guard I could attack/yield to. Think i gained about 10 levels in light armor from that.

Yeah that was obnoxious. For some reason it's not marked like it's stealing while they're unusual gems, it says "take" in white until you get it appraised.
