These generics quests are hardly "content" tho. You can't blame someone for not being thrilled about completing trivial task over and over.
There are so many quests that are unique and/or have a storyline. It's not like every quest is a rehash of "get me 4 frost salts przu."

I definitely agree that the trivial misc quests that are like "I don't care if you're the motherfucking dovahkiin, go get me 10 bear pelts!" don't really count as content, but the Dark Brotherhood, Thieves Guild, etc quests are all pretty great. What's more, the great thing about this game is you get to pretty much pick and choose which quests you do so it's not like you're forced into doing repetitive boring shit so complaining that there are way too many quests in the game just seems ridiculous to me.

I'm probably in the minority here, but the one thing I'd like to see most is the ability to explore these games with a buddy. I mean I know this type of game doesn't NEED co-op/MP of any kind, but I think I would enjoy the atmosphere of the game more a lot more if I could traverse it with a friend as my companion wit drop in/out. (Yes I realize it would break the dragonborn story thing since there would technically be two people who can.)

I saw a "mod in progress" that claimed to be working on multiplayer. If that is possible, it will be the most amazing mod ever and I will donate money I really should use for other things in life to commend that person.

All it needed was an instanced world that you and up to X amount of friends could just piss about on and share.

Not really hot, or even really noticeable if she passed me on the street or something. She's just "in your face" with her tits when we're trying to watch a review (Of the game that's, you know, behind her god damn tits). That fucking beauty mark/mole is the most distracting thing in the world, too.

Plus, no matter how much evidence we're shown to the contrary, or how many hot female gamers we know, straight male gamers will always innately view mildly attractive female gamers as a rare phenomenon.

Things already looked good though with all the mods I had. So I can't really tell if I have it working correctly or not..

you didnt really read what I said, just pirate it to see if your PC can play it, then when you confirm it, buy it on PC, you find you cant, delete it and get it for a console
I love bethseda and I will buy their game, most def, I just take a little offense to paying 60 dollars for a steam copy when I could also buy a physical copy (which I dont want) for the same price.

edit: all problems people have with wondering if their PC can run it would be solved if companies started releasing demos again

also I have a corei7 2600k and a GTX 560ti, I can run it at max settings and even higher with ini tweaks, it runs perfect
my old q6600 and gtx 260 run it at high settings without issue as well, my friends dual core AMD with super shitty 5450 ATI card runs it at medium without issues (except long loading time)

I understood you were suggesting people who weren't sure if they could run it should pirate it, not that you yourself had done so. Its still a slippery slope, I'll pirate it now and then buy the GoTY edition etc..

Its also faster to do the web test than have to download and install the game. I suppose you could argue if your settings were very close to pass/fail the test may not be accurate.

That's quite different from what was suggest, and more of a jumping down some steps than a slippery slope.

Whether you slip slowly or jump, it doesn't matter once you reach the bottom.

It's a slippery slope all the same, and just because you're an A-OK guy who definitely, absolutely will buy the game after you pirate it, doesn't mean everyone else is holds the same standard. I get what's trying to be done, but it doesn't change what might and probably will happen after someone pirates the game.

If you don't buy it immediately after finding out it was going to play well, you weren't going to buy it anyway.

I'm finished with the Thieves, Dark Brotherhood, Champions, and War quest lines now. Lots of fun so far, only disappointed the theives quests weren't as epic as Oblivion's. The Civil War quest line was pathetic, I'll spoiler in case it matters.
    Spoiler: show
Only a handful of repetitious quests to takeover each cities fort, it was very easy and dull and anticlimactic. The only part that was cool was when catapults began hitting Whiterun, but the subsequent battle took no effort. Then basically this giant civil war every NPC hypes up for ages ends in like an hour and a handful of petty fights.

Just have to finish the Main quest line, the mages guild and bards college quest lines.

Amongst all the bashing against the ps3 version is there anything wrong with the 360 version? I got it because I'm a primarily a Xbox 360 gamer (with a beautiful HDTV) and supposedly the first couple of add-ons are coming to Xbox 360 first plus I'm not a 100% sure my laptop can run Skyrim to begin with. Also, I can't justify the PC version being better just because you can use mods since the game is nearly perfection as it is.

The point is is download the game, run it, and see if it runs acceptably. If it does, you then uninstall it (or not, up to you), and buy it. If not, you uninstall it, and don't buy it. People who don't hold that standard are irrelevant. What he suggested was making sure it actually runs on your pc before spending $60 on the game. Nothing more.

It is no different than test driving a car before you buy it.

Yes and it bugs out if you are killing it faster than a sliver at a time. I took it from ~60% down to 40% in the air and the game forced it to do the crash landing from the other side of the cliff, over the cabin on the opposite side. It was so forced, I got what they tried to do by looking at the path and how he was landbound after, but so bad.

The game is just worse and worse the more I think back on the 3-4 days I spent playing it.
