High destruction skill. NPCs mysteriously *know* what your skills are, and I think the criterion for comment is fairly low, like 30+.

think I found out maybe... I noticed it started about when I was doing the 1st thief's guild quest and now I just got a quest from them where I have to set some stuff on fire.
idk. all the NPCs are psychic too apparently.

Stealth build, but anything works to be honest.

Bow Assassin - Wood Elf (starts out with +snk +arch)
Dagger Assassin - Khajit (starts out with +snk +1H)

Ultimately, any race will do. But if you choose a race that doesn't have those bonuses at the outset, your plvl will be lower than your clvl for a long time. For example, I can get bow and sneaking to lvl 50 playing a wood elf and my clvl will be around 10. But with a race that doesn't start near those stats, like say, Breton.. their clvl will be like 16+ to get lv 50 bow/sneaking.

Also, just a random note about dark brotherhood armor. For some reason, the outfit doesn't display right for Males or Khajits. More precisely, it features a cowl/mask and the mask doesn't display on male (or any Khajit) characters. The mask only covers female character's mouths.

Lastly, there is also a Mage Assassin outfit that features +Destruction damage. So a mage character is viable for that quest line as well.

I only got the "blah blah watch those flames" comments if I had a fire spell equipped. Guards will comment on your skills, unique armor and weapons, race, diseases, quest progress, etc.

I got the fire comments constantly... the only thing I can imagine it being tied to, based on my character, is having learned a fire spell or two (never equipped) or having a fire-enchanted weapon in my inventory (also not equipped).

What does sleeping do? I've never really slept much, just used the time skip option if I needed to. And now I'm a werewolf and it tells me it prevents me from getting good rest.

Sleeping in a bed gives 8 hours of 5% increased skill up rate. If you own the bed it's 10%.

And if you sleep in a bed with your wife/husband you get "Lovers Comfort" which is 15% iirc.

Edit:Lovers comfort doesnt stack with the Lovers Stone effect. But it does stack with Thief/warrior/mages stone effect.

Does anyone know if magicka regen stacks or if there are diminishing returns? (as in 50%+40% doesn't equal 90%)

magicka regen is cut to 33% when in combat, if you didnt know, but the effects should stack.

Sooo the game doesn't think I own Breezehouse in Whiterun, did they patch the move your money before they take it out of your inventory glitch? I have the key and everything but its saying Im stealing from my chest and I can't upgrade it
