Did anyone try to be a pacifist with the quest: Missing in Action? When i show up to the fort, the npcs don't give me any dialog to persuade them to let the guy go, and i read in TES wiki that not even joining the legion helps finish the quest without killing anyone. In fact, if you try to sneak past or kill a guard, you fail the peaceful part of the quest and it switches to a different one.

Sometimes the game gives you quest objectives that you have to - or probably should - fail. I ended up just killing them all.

Shot in the dark, but maybe wearing the Armor of the guards there works, pretty sure you'd have to kill one to get it though.

That particular quest is glitched. You need a suit of armor that isn't in the game. So just take the killing route and go from there.

I just got the Nightingale armor and I'm wondering what the boots do exactly. "wearer is muffled and moves silently." How good is the sneak on that?

It's not a Fortify Sneak effect, it's Muffle. It makes you much harder to detect from the sound produced by your movement, but without the Muffle perk or spell, blind enemies like Falmer and Draugr will still find you relatively easily. Also it won't help you avoid detection by sight or the sound of a bow and arrow.

It's good if you don't have the perk from the Sneak tree, but once you get that it's useless. I'd suggest making some sneak skill enchanted armor if you can. I have +109% sneak and can little bump into the enemy and have them detect nothing. I'm sure 109% is overkill, however thats what I ended up with when I made my own enchants.

I agree that the game feels like an elder scroll mod for fallout 3. Still a fun game that I'm really enjoying, but it's totally feels like FO3 with swords and spells to me.

But I don't get how the guy wants to spend most of the review wanking on the lack of a class system. You can define your class by what skills you use and choose to perk. Seems pointless to bitch just because you lose out on some + skills by choosing a "class". It really has no effect on the gameplay whatsoever.
