He's long gone lol I don't even remember his name. I wanna get rid of this thing in my inventory, basically.

Game won't let you get rid of it? Now that i remember, i just got a letter recently from someone asking for an item. It might be that guy that gave the boots to me once. The first time it happened, i just told on that asshole, and he got an arrow in the nads.
Nah I can sell it if i want I was just semi interested in the story of where that was going.
Those are random quests that happen occasionally. You're free to do whatever you want with it.
What is supposed to happen is;
Random guy runs up to you, gives you a piece of armor and tells you to hold onto it and not to rat him out.
a few seconds later, a Hunter will approach you and ask you if you saw the man he's looking for because he stole something. You can rat the burglar out and the hunter will find and kill him, you can say nothing, or you can give him back the item.
Got my first dragon attack in town today, Windehlm, fucking annoying as it wouldn't land for along time. Also feel like an idiot as I finished up the theives guild main quest line a few weeks ago, but didn't realize the importance of doing the repeatables from Vex and Delvin until I happened to talk to Delvin and receive one of the special quests.......
PS3 limitations. It's a documented problem with the hardware. Your game will eventually slow down to a crawl and basically die as your save file gets bigger because of how PS3 manages system RAM. Amazon's been handing out full refunds on the PS3 version if you are able to get it for the PC (or 360 if you have to).
Finally finished the main story the other day and 75% trophies towards plat. Id prolly finish up the plat if I didn't need to do the "return theives guild to its former glory" & "hold 100k" since getting money is easy, just extremely time consuming it buying > enchanting stuff > selling it. Theives guild trophies is terrible since that's like 10 quests per main city.
When you do 5 of the repeatable jobs in the same town, you get a special job. When you finish all 4 special jobs (Whiterun, Windhelm, Solitude, and Markarth) you get a reward. You can't get the reward before finishing the Thieves Guild questline proper, so there's no reason to do them now other than it being less boring than doing 20 repeats in a row.
In the followup quest to the forsworn conspiracy line, should i help the forsworn king or kill him? It seems like the "right" thing to do is help out the forsworn but i'm worried about what will happen if they start rampaging around the city, and what it might do to my ability to quest there in the future.
Haha, help him Kuya. That was one of the better designed quests, in my opinion. The way the town all centered around it was awesome.
On my first run my 360 bugged at the end of the Forsworn Quest when someone dies and I have to go to prison.
So I've played about 5 hrs so far as a pure mage. Haven't unlocked random dragons yet, been doing random quests etc. Before I go any further is it practical to play as a full mage or start over as more of a hybrid. I've been mostly focusing on Conjuring/Destruction and traveling with an NPC in dungeons. Only put a few perks into Destruct and Conjuring.
Don't overassign perks unless you want to start over (or manually reassign if you're on PC); you will find a style you like. Pure mage is viable, but you'll likely want to put some focus on Alteration. It's the mage version of light/heavy armor, basically (though you also get Waterbreathing). Restoration can't hurt either. Enchantment will totally break the game for you eventually; it is entirely viable to be able to cast two schools of magic entirely free with 100 enchanting. If you decide to do this, restoration and destruction are strong options.
Just started with enchanting/disenchanting things. I've been using restoration when I get hurt but aside from dungeon bosses I haven't used it much to level it. NPC/Conjured Wolf/Undead to tank for me and me sitting from behind dual casting fire/lightning kills pretty quick. If there's more than 1 person in the room I'll attempt a Fury spell to start it out to make them fight each other. Been trying to remember to Oak Flesh before fights to level that up as well.
Speaking of waterbreathing... I have yet to find an actual need for it at all. Is there? The deepest sunken ship I found that was still possible to easily loot just by using a potion on the way back up if I took a bit too long finding the chest.
If you need waterbreathing, could always just go kill volsung for his mask.
Just saw that Skyrim is on steam for about 20 off!
