Can the PS3 even run Skyrim stable yet, let alone a full fledged DLC?

So I updated the game to 1.6.89 recently and been having a weird issue.

If I alt tab out of the game, the mouse cursor keeps popping in along with the skyrim cursor. This leaves me with 2 mouse cursors with is very disorientating while playing. The best solution I've found for this is to only alt tab while my games main menu is open. I was wondering if anyone knew of any other solutions.

And no, i don't have dual monitors. And the Disabling visual themes under compatibility did not work either.

I already have a hard enough time finding the motivation to play the game in a mod heavy state, I couldn't imagine going back to Vanilla. Mostly due to you can only experience a horse flying at super sonic speed from a troll, into a group of guards that are trying to kill you in town, so many times before you become jaded, the enviorment is fun to explore but gets so boring after you've discovered everything, the only thing that has me turning the game on once every 2 - 3 weeks is when someone releases some new mods that may make the game fun for an afternoon and then its back to tossing the game over my shoulder to go back to grinding money in D3 or enjoying an evening of SC2.

The new werewolf perks are fun. Not super powerful, but they make it so it doesn't suck ass. Especially if you transform just outside detection range, so you're not getting wailed on while you're in the animation.

Edit: I lied, they do make it super powerful. I pretty much only go into human form to go to town and do quests where I have to be around people that arent my followers. Feel like you're running low on time? Nom on some nearby critters.

If you're referring to what I think you're referring to, yes.

The Dawnguard expansion for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is still missing from the PlayStation 3, but this doesn’t mean we can’t start unearthing information about the next bit of content for the open-world role-playing game.

Bethesda’s parent company, Zenimax, recently filed for a new trademark. The company submitted a request to the United States Patent and Trademark Office for the word “Hearthfire.” Also sometimes called Heartfire, Hearthfire is the fictional ninth month of the calendar in Tamriel, the setting for The Elder Scrolls.

The official documentation from the USPTO lists the nature of the trademark as follows: “Computer game software for use with computers and video game consoles; downloadable computer game software offered via the internet and wireless devices.”

We contacted Bethesda about the possibility that Hearthfire is the title for the next piece of Skyrim downloadable content. A representative for the studio replied that it does not comment on trademark filings.

Hearthfire correlates with our September. According to The Elder Scrolls lore, the third of that month is Tales and Tallows, an unofficial holiday that celebrates the dark magic of necromancy. Necromancers primarily deal in reanimating the dead. This has led some to speculate that Hearthfire could be Skyrim’s version of Undead Nightmare, which brought zombies into wild-west simulator Red Dead Redemption.

Of course, hearth is also the floor of a fireplace, so maybe this will add a quest to become a lovable chimney sweep. We’ve seen too many zombies. I’m voting for the chimney sweeps.

Is the Dawnguard expansion worth paying for? I got skyrim at release for xbox and played it to death, it's been shelfed since then and I was turned off by the expansion trailer because it looked like it turned into a generic vampire game.

    The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Debatable. I'd buy it again, but I could see why others wouldn't. It's more of the same, which I liked. In this day, where 5 maps in a fps is $10, I'd say the amount of content definitely warranted $20. I think I put 25 hours into it, but I definitely didn't do everything.

I held off after hearing lukewarm reviews of the new functionality, this is not what I was expecting after hearing their interviews concerning DLC. I'll wait for it to go on steam sale to pick it up. Perhaps I would feel differently if it was released on PC closer to the Xbox release

It was ninja'd in. I didn't know until a few days after and reading the Kotaku reviews.

That being said, I did enjoy Dawnguard and I do think its worth the $20. It does add at least 30 hours of content to the game. Plus a hot vampire

I had a lot of fun with Dawnguard and I didnt even finish it. The werewolf/vampire perks alone were so fun.
