All in all the PS4 mods have been a disappointment. Which we knew was going to happen with the size limitations Sony put in place. Maybe it's just me but I also don't notice a huge difference in the appearance of the world etc.

Just now getting to download the "upgrade" on Steam. I didn't really use many mods, but from what I'm reading if you used any at all you can't play from that save file? So... my digitigrade mod for my Kha'jit means I can't play that save? Kind of a bummer if true. I mean, I do have a few others. I think I added like 3 custom companions to try out. I keep dumping them because they're over powered. I wasn't caring for any of the ones in game.
some progress on a mod that I'm building... will work with my GF to give the XB1 and PC versions some unique assets but for now keeping it all vanilla to make it easier to multiplatform.
Spoiler: show
Switch version announced, Coming Fall 2017
Has anyone ever encountered a glitch where your character becomes invisible permanently? I have looked up any possible solution for the PS4 (i.e. Load the last save where you weren't invisible, tried Become Etheral, etc.) and nothing has worked so far. The last resort I will try before I give up completely is join the Companions and go into Beast form, as that's worked for someone else.
Anyone have any suggestions to fix this?
sweet, now the 2 people who havent played it before can play it on switch.
Well at least they'll have a good open world game on the Switch now.
Will there even be mod support? Cause vanilla Bethesda games blow.

Hahahahahahahahahaha not even the "unofficial patch"? Damn

Skyrim is fucking garbage without mods.
At the absolute minimum the game is nigh unplayable with kb/m without SkyUI
Yeah the vanilla was obviously designed with a controller in mind. My biggest gripe with "no mods" is not mods, but patches, like "unofficial patch" which is technically a mod. Those patches fix so many quest/game breaking bugs they're pretty much mandatory for every fallout and ES game Bethesda has made.

Didn't they say at one point that Skyrim Switch would have PS4-esque mod support, or am I misremembering?
That's all I'd expect, anyway.
Speaking of mods, did they ever make the UI mod compatable with the HD version?
Kind of. SKSE still isn't available but there's a hack job you can do to get at least some of the functionality.
The lack of SKSE still hurts, but there's enough options now that I think it's worth it for the improved stability and performance. Wildcat/Ordinator (and the other mods from the same author) add enough depth to the gameplay to make it playable imo.
That sucks. I was hoping SKSE would be working with it by now.
