Skyrim will be given a 6.5/10, not enough Twinkies and Hohos, dragons probably scared him and owned his ass and dubbed the game unfair due to it being to difficult to understand basic combat mechanics.

Anyone that reviews a game in LARP is autoflagged for incurable stupid.
The first 20 minutes of Skyrim are floating around, but I've only been able to find the first half since it all got DMCA'd off Youtube.
Sure you saw Cayos, but part 2 is there as well.
i dont want to spoil it for myself. I can wait two weeks![]()
I am weak and cannot wait. It is pretty amazing though, the music is going to be awesome. Just minor graphical details in the first 20 minutes impressed me much more than the 'story' did.
I remember Gamespot making a somewhat spoiler-free Oblivion marathon back then. It lasted for around 12 hours played non stop live by that good Gamespot editor.
Man...I watched it like a movie.
I don't think I'm going to watch, if oblivion was any indication I'm going to be seeing the opening to Skyrim several thousand times![]()
My god this game is going to be epic. The beginnings of Morrowind and Oblivion don't hold a candle to that kind of opening.
EDIT: @Imitarate: You know you could save right before the end of the sewers in Oblivion and it would give you the option to change your entire character again right? Therefore bypassing the entire beginning by loading that save any time you wanted to create a new character. I'm going to assume it will be the same here.
The beginning isn't too long in Oblivion. STILL NOT WATCHING THE VIDEOS
Oblivion, and future games like this, really just need an overhaul of environment. Playing other single player RPGs pale in comparison when all you do is quest quest quest in a linear fashion. I really hope for a strong mod community to add environment mods (like public forums/beheadings) and random event occurrences
This is where Skyrim excels. Solid 30 hour main story line, and a bunch of random shit to do on the side thats interesting.
I hope they make Summons more powerful or make their strength actually determined by your Conjuration skill because my Dremora Lord is pretty fucking worthless on anything that's levelled.
Anyone else planning on pulling an all nighter on friday when this hits? I seriously expect no sleep at all. 1liter of soda, some munchies, and checking in on others in BG and see how theyre liking it. Be fun to geek out for a night.
Oh yes, I didn't really mean the tutorial so much as the early main-quest elements.
One of my favorite times doing the Dark Brotherhood quests was killing the house full of people without talking to a single one. I happen to find a couple of people up in the bedrooms, so I sneak-attacked them with something absurd to oneshot them, then just pushed the others into corners by themselves. Good times!
I don't know, I never completed any Elderscroll games because I get bored around the 30 hours mark. Side content is nice, but getting side tracked too long make me lose any interest, especially when the contents get repetitive and is not very rewarding.
Random events might fix that, but stuff like this tend to be impressive only the first time or two, then its just more of the same.
They need to do multiplayer Elder Scrolls someday. They don't even need to worry about balance and all that. Just give us the same game they were going to give us, with the additional feature of allowing us to host for friends to join and do shit in the world. Whether that be to PvP, or help each other, or whatever, that's between you and whoever you invite to join.
