So close I can taste it. I'm going to play it until I pass out a gibbering, incoherent mess.

It released in several stores on accident today, lol.
Not if you order the Collectors edition, si?
If so, going to bribe Gamestop.
Holy shit. I'm right now looking at an aurora borealis ripping through a star-filled sky, and all of a sudden I hear a dragon's roar overhead...and the only way I can tell where he is is where the stars "disappear" behind his body.
This game is ridonk.
Also, they released a new video today and it shows off the aurora borealis Tyr mentioned:
The environments in this game are pretty damn gorgeous.
All I can ever see when that one guy talks is this:
Damn you Michael Hogan!
Ugh gay. Just like New Vegas, it uses steamworks.
Answered my own question. Fuck. I have to go into the gamestop store i ordered it from to cancel too. Worthless bastards.
I like nice, stand-alone physical copies of games too - but better Steam than some nigh-malware DRM scheme with a handful of activations and so on.
pre-ordered the PC version from Gamestop. I hate them, but they're the only ones I know doing a midnight release in my area and I don't want to deal with potentially slow downloads from massive overload on the Steam servers. I want the game in my hand so I can shove that disc into my computer and gorge myself on fantasy bliss ASAP.
so, that said: taking bets on whether or not Gamestop actually has a PC copy of the game when I get there. I'm putting $10 down that they don't, just because... well... it's Gamestop.
If my wife is making me wait until christmas so she can buy the game for me, that's grounds for divorce, right?
Grounds for Murder. No jury would convict you!
clearly, you need to teach her the meaning of "honor and obey."
