Oh jesus, I managed to slay the first dragon finally with the help of a couple giants it decided to snack on, but the giant turned on me and killed me as I was absorbing the dragon soul in one shot... but not before I saw the second dragon decide to land and attack right after the first died. Apparently they do not fight you two on one, thank the gods, but they do tag team. D:

Pickpocketing to 100 really fucked me over good. The dragon outside Whiterun (you know the first one you fight?) is raping me with one cast of it's breath and I am literally spamming frost/fire magic on it while it's on the ground only to take off maybe a 1/20 of it's HP each time. Going to try mage school in Winterhold people keep talking about and trying my best to get better equipment but I think I am fucked.

Lol? It's a motherfucking dragon, what did you expect, for you to one shot it like a ronfaure bunny against flare? You're doing better than I am, first dragon I fought on expert took off almost all my hp in one breath attack, and my arrows did like 1% of its hp. I had to let the npcs take it out and there were two dead NPCs plus a charred corpse when it was all done. XD

do the maximum amount of charges on enchanted weapons ever go up?

i put a stamina drain one on a sword and it's got 3 charges max. i'm assuming that'll go up with stronger souls or higher level enchanting or something right?

I don't mean to sound like a douche, but are dragons that difficult? I've had no trouble whatsoever with any dragons for a long, long time...Granted, I've fought only a handful of bronze dragons, and only 2 (I think?) named dragons, but still...they're super easy D:

I have a warrior build, 3 perks into Heavy Armor, I rushed the "Elemental Resistance" Block perk which I thing is huge, and I usually just rape dragons with a chess-match of block/power attack (and it's usually stunned).

Heh, totally forgot I was playing on Master. No wonder it's been an uphill battle for awhile now. Going to keep it this way and see how long I can go without giving in and turning it down to expert. Skipped dragon for now.

Currently selling all my shit to the thieves guild chick. Running to a bed to wait 2 days to refresh her gold is the most asinine game mechanic ever. Carry limit and finite vendor gold are some of the most counter intuitive things in the TES games, especially since everything else caters so hard to the casual (e.g. fast travel, difficulty, simplified gameplay, etc.) I find myself constantly being over encumbered too. That's definitely one of my biggest complaints with the game, that and the menu system, although I have gotten accustomed to it and feel it's fast (I can navigate entirely with my left hand except for the 'ESC' menu which does not allow left/right navigation from what I can tell).

I feel like relying entirely on my bow and sneaking skills (I enjoy sniping) has heavily gimped me as I end up with encounters I can't really deal with from a distance. Now my one-handed skill (dual-wielding daggers usually) is so far behind that I get my ass entirely handed to me every time I am forced into close-counter battle.

I use a bow exclusively, and it's not really hard to deal with anything, even in close quarters, once you get the rapid fire perk.

The dragon fights are pretty disappointing lol. With better combat mechanics they could have been amazing.

So what should I be leveling as an Archer? I'm doing Archery (durr)/Sneak/Light Armor. I wound up getting two-handed to level 35 (I'm level ~10) by killing the trolls in Darkshade.

So anyone walked into the Hall in Whiterun and had EVERYONE fucking attack you for no reason? I'm not a vampire, i'm not in werewolf form and the only thing ive changed since I last saw the Jarl was getting some dwarven armor and doing 2 quests for the townspeople. I walk in and they are sitting there having dinner and then the ENTIRE fucking hall just erupts into people wanting to murder me.

I have a quest to turn in inside the hall too >_<

I just maxed all jobs to 100 and got a lil over 80 perk points. Gonna try different builds before I actually "start" the game. So far I only tried dual wield build with x2 Iron Swords, seems pretty powerful

incpcs jobname is the one I used since it gives you perk points

Little question for those playing:

I´ve ordered a copy and waiting on delivery (overseas delivery makes me sad) but would like for both me and my girlfriend to be able to play from the same copy (can't really afford a second right now).
Is it possible for one of us to load up the game using my Steam account, go into offline mode and then the other load it up? If that would work are saved game files stored locally?
