I don't think you can even if it's offline. You might be better off pirating or finding a crack that lets you do so. I know save game files are stored locally which answers your second question, I really doubt Steam would let you run on two seperate PC's though.

Lol? It's a motherfucking dragon, what did you expect, for you to one shot it like a ronfaure bunny against flare? You're doing better than I am, first dragon I fought on expert took off almost all my hp in one breath attack, and my arrows did like 1% of its hp. I had to let the npcs take it out and there were two dead NPCs plus a charred corpse when it was all done. XD

I honestly doubt it was the pickpocketing that hurt him that much. He said he hadn't spent any perks and on top of that he was on master difficulty. You really can't afford to get hit as a caster on default so I can only imagine that you probably get 1 shot on master.

The hotkeys along with turning off controller really helped the games control.

Yesterday i fought a dragon and a bear happened to be near. The bear fought bravely....but fell in the end.

If you are having problems with giants just keep your distance and they dont seem to aggro. Even when you get a little close it seems to take them a second or two to bother with you.

Going one hand, blocking, heavy armor, and smithing mainly. Lockpicking has gotten a few perks also..mostly because i cant pass a chest or door without wanting whats in it.

Giants just aren't aggressive unless you go really close to them or their mammoths. If you go close to them they'll start waving their arms around trying to intimidate you but if you don't go closer at that point they won't attack.

I'm lv26 atm and in the same rut i think. Kinda of want to start from scratch somehow without losing my quest progress. Maybe console cheats ><

They made it far to easy to level non-combat skills. My sneak is like 70 because you can just sneak around active enemies and get exp lol. Pickpocketing and lockpicking are high because you can just do them without much consequence.

yeah for real. want to lvl conjuration to anything you want? just spam soultrap on your npc buddy. also, i haven't tried it yet but i'm sure you could cast on some high level monsters at a distance for better gains. btw, this might be a solution for people who have a complete lack of combat skills as you can conjure up weapons and such.

Anyone, on the PS3 version, notice the audio screwing up? It's mainly just background noise in town and around water, but it's like a short second of repeating sound that isn't seemless so it's distracting.

Nope it was in my sheath, maybe they really really hate dwarves and their armor? I have no clue. I read up online though and people said it happens and the only thing you can do is punch a guard by the gate and then submit and pay a fine and hope that resets it all. Thing is, I havnt committed any crimes o_O

Little question for those playing:

I´ve ordered a copy and waiting on delivery (overseas delivery makes me sad) but would like for both me and my girlfriend to be able to play from the same copy (can't really afford a second right now).
Is it possible for one of us to load up the game using my Steam account, go into offline mode and then the other load it up? If that would work are saved game files stored locally?

Yes, you can. As long as only one computer is in online mode at a time, you can both play the game at the same time. It's what I've been doing so far and have had zero problems.

Are shadows blocky and bad for everyone or just me with an ATI card? Even on Ultra shadow setting, they look terrible. Everything else looks pretty good except some of the textures, which will get modded sooner or later.

Even with those faults, I think the game looks great and I'm surprised how well it runs on my PC.

Gameplay wise, are you guys stacking up on specific perk lines or distributing them more evenly? I'm looking to play a one hand/sneak/light armor/bow class, but it's so hard to afford to drop points in all of them. I think I may have to let go of the bow until much later on. So far, I haven't been able to think about light armor perks. I do like how hard the choices are though. I think it's well done in that regard.

There is an apothecary across from the general goods store in Whiterun. Arcades Cauldron, or something like that.
