Not as far as I know, I think you cap at around level 80 or so with everything maxed, so you're just limited by the amount of perks you can take. Obviously maxing everything will just make the game harder compared to just maxing your main combat skills and stuff though, given enemies will scale higher than if you were just maxing your main combat skills + a craft or two.
And yeah, lockpicking does just feel like a case of throwing a ton of picks at something if you're trying to open up a high level lock, but on the plus side it's a lot better than Fallout 3/NV where you needed 100 Lockpicking before you could even attempt to open Master locks, here you can do it immediately if you're willing to try. I usually just savescum and reload if it takes too many picks.
so i finally got and used the elder scroll, is there anything else nifty it can do? or other places to use it?
I just got the golden claw off the guy I cut down from the spider web. wtf do I do with it? I seem to be at a dead end.
the key to lockpicking is paying attention to how the keyhole moves. when you're close to the right spot, it'll move, and the closer you get the further the keyhole moves. once you find a spot where the keyhole moves, edge the pick a little bit in one direction and see whether it moves more or less. using that technique I've opened even master locks with 3-4 picks at most. it does help to save first though.
Is there some way to remove arrows and stuff from your body lol? I currently have a piece of ice lanced through my ass/crotch and an arrow sticking out my neck. I tried sleeping and reloading and neither worked.
haha yeah i have an arrow sticking out of my head too
I killed Maul, who was apparently supposed to appraise my unusual gem. Whoops.
Anyone do this? I got a quest with no marker and no clue what to do with it.
so anyone else buy a house and OCD organize everything?
Anyone know here i can locate a couple Wood Elves? i need their Blood....
Companions are so buggy. I've had mine disappear into the void 3 times only to randomly pop back whenever the hell he felt like. Also, are there any spells or armor I should look out for that makes mages easier to deal with? They rape me to death every time I come across one.
what would be more useful throughout the game, azara's star or the black star? i plan on consistently using enchanting weapons if it matters.
also, are all human souls a creature's grand soul equivalent? cause if that's the case i'd prolly be way better off taking the black star.
The first companion Lydia? disappeared on me when I went to climb the mountain.
