Just spent like hours going through and making potions and only gained like 5 alchemy levels. This game is fucking retarded, I can pickpocket like 4 items and get a skillup for each one, but figuring out potions, no that's only worth like 1/20th a level. Makes zero sense it's like they didn't even try to balance this shit.
Same thing for enchanting sort of, disenchanting gives like no gain in skill, not sure about enchanting stuff because I've yet to do it but I get the feeling it wont be much.
I found Krosis and Vokun. Krosis mask is ballerrr for my fortify alchemy build (gloves, amulet, necklace, helm, each with 10-20%)
Vokun is my main helmet because I don't got a better alternative and I have its got a powerhouse of a heavy armor rating.
Where'd you find Nakhriin, Azuark?
Getting money is supereasy -- I use smithing to beef up an item, chant it with a petty-common gem, and sell it to smiths. I did that a couple times, and when the smith ran out of money (Eorlund Grey-mane at the Skyforge in Whiterun), I bumped up my smithing level (until it became too expensive).
The best way, though, is through alchemy. It's inexpensive to get a fortify alchemy build, and just spam potions that bring in the most $$. Slow potions, paralyze potions (a little tougher), and potions that are mulitple effects usually bring in the most cash.
If the alchemist runs out of cash, buy up all their ingredients. General store clerks also purchase potions, and I buy up their grand/greater soul gems, and use them on enchantments. I often find that I'm spending too much time and not spending my money.
I'll get on the game tomorrow, PM me if you want some good recipes that bring in a lot of $$.
bah cant figure out how to paste a SS from steam's folder. http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/7...97180330799160http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/7...97180330799160
You find Nakhriin through the main storyline. Where'd you find Vokun?
Also still in need of Wood elf blood. anyone? lol
I'm in bed now, so can't say where Vokun was off the top of my head. I'll letchu know soon though. I think it was the third place that I was "told" I could find a new shout (don't want to spoil anything potentially, although if you've hit Nakhriin, you're ahead of me in the main storyline).
Also, I've saved all my dragon bones/scales -- can someone confirm if they're used for smithing dragon armor?
PS: anyone know additional places that purchase potions? Outside of a town's potion/general goods store.
Where they tell you to go for shouts isn't set haha. Cause i've been Shout hunting for awhile and haven't met Vokun....
In the speech tree you can find a perk to make a shopkeeper buy anything.
Also you can sell stuff to the thieves guild after you join up.
Also, about skillups, as to be expected it takes more points to level them up its level goes up. Archery for me is in the 90s and takes forever to gain a point, but fighting a dragon with my level 15 block skill (for reference sake I was character level 40) I gained 3 skill levels every attack I blocked.
I'm pretty sure the Dragon Priest locations are set though. Hell I'm 99% sure :O Has anyone done the quest where you ahve to collect High elf, Wood elf, Dark elf, Falmer and orc blood?
So if you've gotten a couple missions into the storyline (where you get "Whirlwind Sprint")
Spoiler: show
Where can one get Human Flesh/Heart? Killing people doesn't work, do you find bodies with them somewhere?
I've found human Flesh/ Hearts where i found Falmer
Spoiler: show
Azura's star is a reusable soul gem? And the Black Star is a reusable soul gem that can only get humans?what would be more useful throughout the game, azara's star or the black star? i plan on consistently using enchanting weapons if it matters.
also, are all human souls a creature's grand soul equivalent? cause if that's the case i'd prolly be way better off taking the black star.
If so, I'd say Azura's. You can use it to repeatedly recharge your enchanted items, assuming you have a soul trap spell or soul trap on a weapon. In Oblivion, I could dominate because I had the Umbra (Soul trap enchanted sword), Azura's star, and a second weapon that did 20 damage on strike.
I also don't know how often you'd be killing humans versus all the other creatures in the game.
