Some of you guys complaining about getting your ass handed to you fast might have your difficulty set too high. All that slider does is alter dmg dealt and received just like in oblivion, so if you feel like a masochist, go ahead and enjoy dealing 1/10th the dmg and taking 10x more dmg.
Ran into a random WoP dungeon and found some nord chick in fur skins that wanted to find some scroll in the bottom of the place. She used only lightning magic, would randomly say "This is fun!" and overall could really slap some shit. Big boss at the end spammed fire balls, so fire resist potion and went to town keeping its attention on me. Was kinda neat to just randomly get a sidekick for a dungeon.
Think legendary is last in upgrades. You can also re-upgrade items by having another ingot for the process. Found some gloves and a helm really early on with +25% and +20% archery dmg, so it's been bows ever since. Found some boots with muffled movement on them, so sneaking has been good. Random ring and gloves with smithing +17% and 20%, one handed weapons +25% on gloves, etc, game sure tosses enhancement crap at me. Really neglected magic; just been making/buying/using potions since I can't cast spells with a bow...
add: to the post above mine, The daedric equivalent would be glass (just look at the skill tree; it's directly to the left of dragon armor). Dragon armor has two variants you can make, light and heavy, since there's no weapons to make with it... Deadric is superior because it's a little more rare to come across deadra hearts while dragon parts rain from the sky.
add, the second: if you meant daedric light armor, no, it's never existed in the previous games either. Only heavy.
