Side note: If you save a game, buy items from a shop, and then load the previous save, their stock and gold will still be out on the items you bought on the previous game even though you don't have the items since you reloaded. It was kinda annoying the first few times I accidentally sold something I didn't want to, reloaded, and found out the things I bought and the merchant's gold were at the pre-load levels.

also does the female version of the dark brotherhood armor you get given have the face cover like astrids armor ? cos the males doesn't

I really really really recommend doing the first quest or two for the thieves guild, the chick you fence stuff too has 4k gold.

I'm pretty sure you can dismiss any companion and they'll go hang out in their normal spot. Lydia should just go chill in your house or Dragonreach (if you didn't buy Breezehome).

Worst case scenario, tell her to wait somewhere and eventually the game will tell you she got bored and went back home. It takes something like 1-3 game days, though, so I'd suggest leaving her in a town where she won't get hurt.

EDIT: Guys..."Banish" is f'ing ridiculous as a money maker if you enchant it on weapons...Dwarven Dagger jumps from like 200 gold to 1500 on a petty soul gem...

not that anyone needs money, but still.

Yea some of the enchantments, Banish, Paralyze, Fortify Archery... all make decent cash enchantments with petty gems.

anyone know what +armor skill does for you once you're already 100?

Improves your already-good armor rating. You can go past 100 with +skill gear.

Is smithing still useful if you're making a light armour character?

Absolutely. Shit, Smithing's good for a mage, just on account of how easy it is to level. If you're going a Light Armour melee - a fast damage dealer-y setup - you're going to want smithing. You can damn near double your current armour and weapon's damage.

So just gonna update my progress as a Heavy Armor Destruction Mage... on Masters. I don't know if i said it before but i'm going and finsihing the College quests before even the first dragon so no shouts. Each dungeon is taking like 2 hours >.>; i'm currently at the Dragon Priest... and it 1 shots. All in all its a painful sort of fun like playing I wanna be the guy

As a pure caster leveling Enchanting/Smithing what should I bother with? I've been mixing and match (only lvl 22) just because I found some good caster Heavy Bracers and Elven Helmet, but not sure what I should bother going with as far as Smithing goes? Does wearing Robes count as Light Armor, so I should put perks/level that as well as go for Dragonscale?

So what if your level is high enough to the point where you don't have enough perks left to spend on Smithing (to get up to dragon shit and whatnot)? I'm pretty meh about how I distributed my perks so far. I wasted quite a few on one-handed crap when it's a joke to use when my Archery is near max'd out. I'm borderline considering starting over as a brutal 2-hander but I have done so damn much already... Games where I can't eventually max everything out really bunch my panties.

For horses do they follow you when you fast travel, like will they just be chilling at a capital? I'd hate to get a horse and have to manually ride it everywhere, no matter how fast it is.
