The Moon has an impact on oceanic movement and most likely on tectonic plate as well because of the tides . March 19th "supermoon" (happen once every 20 years), isn't going to change a shit though. It's only going to make a marginal difference with the usual Moon that is 1% farther.

the idea is that the gravity increase will cause increased movements in the tectonic plates, which in turns affects ocean currents and volcanoes.
