I especially like the one that said Japan started WWII.

If you include the Sino-Japanese war, beginning in 1933, as the start of WWII (which I do), then Japan did actually "start" WWII. Beginning with the Manchuko Incident, in which the Japanese military staged an attack on a Japanese train bridge, to provide a cause to attack China.

Regardless, that jingoistic bs on Facebook just makes me sick.

Japan started long before Germany was involved in anything... and everyone letting them get away with literal murder could well have been part of what led Hitler to believe that no one would really respond against him. That last part is total speculation on my part, but considering how invested America and England were in China and SE Asia, and how little America and England did early on in the war... it's not an unreasonable speculation. It wasn't until Japan started creeping toward actual British colonies that the US and England really ramped up their aggressive tactics. And, of course, this all started almost 5 years before Hitler attacked *anyone*. So, yes, Japan DID start the entire war.

You could also argue that the imperialistic ways the west dealt with Japan (forcing trade etc.) are what drove Japan to be so militaristic in the first place :/

Pink toed. These get rather big, and the females can last 5-15 years. Vrtra is gorgeous when shes done molting, and spread out. Jet black with hot pink toes. I'm going to give her about 2 weeks to set in her new skin then feed her crickets, change her bed to the right stuff and measure her.
