Should have seen the 4chan thread on that picture last night, lol.
Should have seen the 4chan thread on that picture last night, lol.
That's my only beef with 4chan, if you're not on there during a nice thread your ass doesn't get to see it.
It's why we have this thread. It filters out the crap.

Man canada is so dark.
It's good to live in the darkness sometimes though, you can see the stars. Every time I'm in Finland during the winter I just go and sit in the back yard in the evening and stare up at the milky way for as long as I can.
Random image from Google but all that what looks like lit-up dust you see between the stars you can not see living in cities. Hell, you can't even see the stars themselves most of the time.

You're saying you can see it as clearly as in that pic? Where do you live?Every time I'm in Finland during the winter I just go and sit in the back yard in the evening and stare up at the milky way for as long as I can.
Not that clearly obviously, that's some crazy long exposure photo. But compared to not being able to see any stars in Birmingham (or anywhere in the English Midlands) it's still fucking amazing.
And I'm from one of the small towns around Lahti, not that middle of nowhere tbh but still far away enough from anywhere for it to be truly pitch-black at night except for the stars (plus the small village I grew up in doesn't have street lights).
Random pic.
