what happened in this patch? i hit 80 on my mage then realized how many bgs i have to do to make my ice lances crit for 10k and stopped playing for a few days

all i know is no more portals in shattrath, and some maps were altered. and for me personally, my talents got reset and my quests all got ditched unless they were completed.

kinda pissed, because i had a few where i was 50%+ done with them.

iirc my friend said this is the shattering, and they are doing some wonky stuff for cataclysm preperation. exp requirements for 1-80 on going down, easier to level 70-80 i think.

yeah, i heard a 20% decrease in levels 70-80. regardless, supremely fuckin unhappy about having to hearth in orgrifuck and fly everywhere now. what a timewaster.

well it makes sense because they haven't had portals to take you to any of the main lands in the expansions. can't port to any continent in shat or northrend unless you have a worm hole which has a 4 hour cooldown

What would you need the portals for? They were replaced with class trainers and auctioneers, so aside of having to go back to oldworld to move along in quest chains they're redundant.
