I cant say I know enough Canadians to make an accurate assessment of Those Canadian cables(in the off chance he's right) but the person who wrote em sounds like a douche that thinks everyone in Canada thinks they're the hat and that they live near the border in order to be closer to America. It's interesting because it apparently never occurred to the guy that people grouped down near the bottom in Canada because as you go more and more north shit gets fucking COLD.

Is there some way to just outright download everything wikileaks has released ever? It seems like something to read while bored.

Amazon didn't have to oblige they did it because of 'political pressure'. There is no law against what Amazon did.

Otherwise they wouldn't be allowed to be posted in newspapers/websites.

Even if Julian Assange is murdered, the site will remain active. I'm pretty sure he's just a figure head, there are many people behind making the site work and I'm sure they are just as passionate about it staying up as he is.

Yeah I read he has an entire network of safehouses that he rarely stays in for long stretches. I'm sure he has several contingency plans in place if something were to happen to him, he's comes off as quite clever.
