Getting so much SP... Might hit 30 tonight on Archer; fatigue and all. lol
Edit: Sigs behind - I'm actually halfway to 27. This is too fast.
RAWR~!! Push onward, Kuro! You just let me know when the crabs get their bubble shower back so we can XP on them again. Strange that the highlight of my XIV time was in OB, lol.
So lets give the players a huge increase in SP, but lets not change fatigue.... They should just do away with fatigue, I don't care what any of you people think, It's simply retarded.
I logged in today with the intention to do all of my leves, I was only able to do 6 before I raged and logged out. Shit is still unplayable imo. The camera pisses me off to no end. But, it was rather nice getting about 30k sp from 6 leves. Small step in the right direction, maybe in a few more months everything else that pisses me off about this game will be fixed and I can start to play again.
We may not have shit to do @ 50, but I could care less as long as they aren't charging me. SE released a trainwreck at launch, but I doubt they'll start charging people before there is content.
So what am I going to do if I hit 50 with zero content? Do something else and come back when there is content, or grind another job... it won't matter, because it's free.
Blaaah 20k from 30 when we finished leves. Went 19 to 29 in like 8 hours. Thats not bad I'd say.
With how much sp you can gain thru all avenues at lower lv, 1-30 should be relatively painless. General population should easily hover in mid-high 30's now where 40+ will require some push to hit 50, nothing we're not already use to. Can rake in 60-80k on a good leve party now, which is pretty much 75-100% a lv 40+
SP gain is pretty nuts--did THM 27-33 today in about 6-7h with leves/grinding. I think it is for the best in the longrun though. As it's been stated the cap won't be 50 forever and that TNR gets pretty big. This is much more manageable and I like it. I don't believe that levels are content so I really am enjoying this a lot more than before. I guess... good job Yoshi-P.
Some numbers:
THM 27-30
Antling Digger, Copperbell lower level
Party size: 4-5
SP/kill: 188-212
Levinshower/Wills + GF
Party size: 8
SP/kill: 486-547
THM 31-33
Copperbell, SE area
Party size: 2-4
SP/kill: 155-187 (rank1/2 fatigue)

If this was the old management team i'd consider the boost broken, can get a rank in the 30s in 50 minutes of playtime thanks to Behest.
What's the point of doing rank 20 content if you can get to rank 30 in a matter of few hours anyway?
Oh-ho, pre-requisites galore! Hopefully with level caps.
Well I'm at the 3rd tier of fatigue at the moment in one day of playing... Once that hits 50% it won't be long till it jumps to 100% leaving me shit outta luck for the week on Archer.
Fatigue is more of a problem now than it ever was. lol
Good good, that should give them some breathing room.
Maybe that's why they did it. They want to focus on rank 50 content rather than trying to develop content at all levels? Getting to 40 doesn't take long now and they could probably participate in any 50 content.
Rank 1-10 and maybe even 1-20 do feel a little pointless as things are. Perhaps moving some skillups (or time needed to skill up) from 30-50 to 1-20 would help to keep the end result the same while fixing it.
I can sort of see how some people might think leveling is too fast, but at least there's fatigue which is probably why SE is fine with this. They have already set a maximum on how much we can advance per week, so there isn't much point in not letting us reach it.
Unfortunately I think the system still needs a lot of work. Redoing the same guildleves so often (especially if you fail them to keep the good ones around) is as boring as crafting, and this won't change even if they add 20 guildleves per camp... unless the rewards are homogenized better across all guildleves. Hopefully we'll get there someday.
EDIT: Also, question: have we found out if there's a cap on how many skill ups we can get from a single synth/mob? I gained 999 twice from two synths yesterday, which made me wonder if that was the cap or I was just incredibly lucky for getting that same amount twice.

I figured you'd want to focus on low level content at the beginning of your game's life-span: you know, when the majority of the player-base is actually low level. Seems counter-productive to go back and introduce all this low level content after the fact, when most people are end-game and thirsting for more appropriate content.
Kind of a stupid thing to say, I think we can both agree they want to pull more new players into the game. I think they would be better off working on low level content, to get new players, rather than making high level content for the 100 players they have now. The last thing they should be worried about is high level "end game" content. Fix the broken ass game first, then add low to mid level content to bring players back to the game and recruit new. Then, when the game is playable and they start to see a decent increase in the player base, worry about high level, end game content. Just my opinion.
