    Collecting Podcasts and Youtube Channels

I want to make a thread called "Videogame TV / Radio" which consists of a huge list of regularly updated gaming media. Something to fill the void which G4 can't. I want podcasts, websites with lots of video, or youtube channels which have a formula similar to podcasts. I also want you to speak a little about them so as to give people an idea what it is about(at least when the final thread comes around).

    GiantBomb and Bombcast
    http://www.giantbomb.com/
    http://www.giantbomb.com/podcast/

This is the big one, imo. More than anything else these guys have unmatched chemistry. In addition to their podcast, they upload "Quick Looks" where they play a game for 20 minutes to an hour~ and commentate. Other video stuff like that(some only available for "Premium members only") and also reviews/news like any other text based site.

    Weekend Confirmed
    http://www.shacknews.com/featuredarticle.x?id=1313

Rather casual in taste, but can also get in-depth in personal opinions/theories.

    Cruncheons (Formerly Borecast)
    http://cruncheons.podbean.com/

Very 4chan /v/-ish. Much more "hardcore" themed. Much more ballsy and easier to agree to for me, but at the cost of gracefulness. (Also can be cringe-worthy unfunny when they get off-topic.)

Three Japan-based Podcasts(either Japanese game focused or look at all games from a Japan market perspective): (Very easy to confuse these)

    8-4 Play
    http://8-4.jp/blog/

"The only Japanese gaming podcast" - Not really. Also a translating company. Probably the most popular one of the three?

    Warning! A Huge Podcast
    http://radio.morningproject.com/

I once corrected them about something related to FFXIV, lol. Can be crazy long.

    Sun of a Podcast
    http://www.redsungamer.com/

Spent an hour talking about Vanquish, thus is the best one!

Sorry for lazy descriptions... kind of tired atm.

Apparently this one is pretty popular, but I can't stand it really. No charm or professional appeal and these guys are very boring.

Weekly podcast from 3 CoD youtube commentators. Split half between video game talk (mostly the current FPS) and other non-gaming stories/discussions. No deep topics like religion or politics.

    http://www.gamebreaker.tv/

This site features multiple video podcasts(like radio-style). It has one for WoW, FFXIV, TOR, and I think at least one for games in general. Kind of iffy on their quality, but they are not terrible.

I regularly listen to Bombcast, Weekend Confirmed and Podcast Beyond.

    http://feeds.ign.com/ignfeeds/podcasts/beyond/

http://www.joystiq.com/podcast/ Sometimes this one, but I'm starting to think they actually hate games.

I have others, if you're looking for an exhaustive list.

Strategy gaming(including board/table top games) podcast. That alone makes it awesome, but it is also handles things with a sense of expertise. Listened to a handful of episodes and enjoyed them all.

First off they weren't funny(kind of just boring nerdy) and they talked about game journalists in a way that brought out my "elitism". Crap like: Games like Braid and Bioshock inspiring good game criticism, being insecurely defensive about Ebert's comments on gaming. I had to sneer, just in case someone was watching.

EDIT: If someone could find me the episode where they talk about Vanquish would be great. I am using that to judge people's worth.

Red Sun Gamer really kicks ass when they get in depth into a game. They do a better a job than almost every other podcasts. My favorite discussions on Vanquish, Gran Turismo, and basically the only Ni no Kuni discussion. I am finding the three japanese podcasts are better than all but GiantBomb's and maybe Cruncheons.

EDIT: That is better in getting in-depth. They can spend an hour talking about something, most podcasts keep on moving for pacing.

Still haven't had a chance to sit down with these yet, but I've downloaded an episode of each to check out. Thanks for collecting these.
