It would work similar to how it's worked in previous Final Fantasies D: Kill Tonberry and increase damage exponentially to a certain extent... downside would always be putting yourself in range of perma one-shottings by all tonberry. Actually, I just want a broken spell for BLU, and it has potential if it worked as such.

For a broken spell, make one of the mobs in new abyssea zone use lvl 5 death, make it a blu spell lol. White wind, aqua breath and few others are long overdue for traditional blu spells though. I can see (as they have said they wanted to add hnm spells) spike flail from faf, aqua breath from turtle and prolly the aoe stun from behemoth or flame armor(most likely since no blaze spike spell). There is no Mighty guard yet though, surprisingly the iron giants dont use it unless they plan to add another one that will in new one.

I don't think Rhyno Guard is that likely considering we already have Feather Barrier. Anyway didn't they say that all spells will be eventually unlocked? I couldn't care less if we get copies considering we have to pick spells anyway. They could also apply different traits to these spells.
BLU getting some unique traits other than merit ones would be nice imo.

In some FF games death and zone spells removed any exp/gil/items you could have gotten from the mob. I imagine if they ever even considered adding something like this it would be along those lines.

They should make it so you are able to dispel elementals from existence but get no exp.

Or make the spell "Azure Lore" exclusive just like Odin is for Summoners. This would actually give a good use to Azure Lore and at the same time add a broken spell :D
The again I consider Quadratic Continuum quite broken already lol.
