Help Headspace pick a computer cuz he's too dumb to do it himself

I'm looking for a new computer, and I'm thinking of biting on an iMac (I'm doing it for photo editing, so I need/want bridge and CameraRAW so the Mac is needed). So I'll be doing photos, a little video, and some light gaming I suppose (I'm not sure what is mac capabale, but shit like Starcraft 2 would probably be the most graphics heavy, but I don't need to run on max)

I don't really need the 27in monitor, and I'm not sure paying an extra 300$ for upgraded graphics card and and extra 500GB in harddrive space is really worth it.

buy a pc, download mac osx, install it on said computer, save yourself $1000.

If you're doing video editing, I have to recommend you get as much space as possible on the harddrive, and with the addition of a better graphics card that's only going to help, I'd say the $300 is worth it.


Then just partition Windows. Or do it the cheaper way and buy a PC and install Mac OSX. I personally have an iMac because I went to school for video production and needed FCP, but I spend a lot more time on Windows than Mac OSX anymore just for gaming, and I've chosen not to pursue anything with my degree so really, I have an overpriced Windows machine at this point.

Last time I talked to Adobe, a month or two ago, they can switch your license from Mac to PC. Just call them, it's free.
