Since in abyssea, you don't really even need TH in a group, since you can guarantee weapon/armor/upgrade item/atma/abyssite/etc. drops by triggering weaknesses. Sure, if you still do dynamis, or some old events, you can use TH, or if you can't trigger a weakness (not enough people, etc.), but old stuff is becoming increasingly old and outdated (new AF3 bodies and hands).

Even with Yellow/Blue procs, a THF helps with drops. The only thing THF doesn't seem to help with is key item (red) drops.

Yellow/Blue TH seems to stack with THF TH but will the new RNG TH stack with the previous or is it just Atma of Dread/TH1 tier.

Also yes, /SCH is still meh compared to /RDM based soley on Gravity and Fast Cast (among others), however if the new BLM trait doesnt stack with /RDM FC.. There will probably be some people switching for PT related stuff at least.

There will be one more news update before the real update (this Friday) and we know that it'll be about Job adjustments and how they're splitting Waltz into even/odd categories like good little boys.
So there likely won't be any magian merit system this update. I just hope they give us something to do (or somewhere to store) Kindred Crests in the version patch notes. My storage is feeling the burn.
