    Q.

    Was the movement speed of PCs slowed down in the version update? My Lalafell seems more sluggish and slothful, a mere shadow of his former, sprightly self.
    A.

    The movement speed of PCs has not been adjusted in the slightest. What has changed, however, is the angle of the game camera. Though this minor alteration may give the false perception of slower movement, we assure players that this is not the case.

    Q.

    The response time of the user interface (UI) has certainly improved as a result of the version update, but my gaming gut tells me that the retainer interface screen has become heavier. Am I right or am I right?
    A.

    You are right. This issue will be addressed in the Decemeber version update. Changes are currently being made to the programming underlying this portion of the UI that will considerably improve response times.

    Q.

    I can no longer navigate through the tabs on the Attributes, Inventory, and retainer interface screens using the D-pad on my controller. What gives?
    A.

    Prior to the November version update, selecting tabs with a controller was accomplished by moving the cursor to the desired tab using the D-pad and then pressing the Select/Confirm button. This method was removed, however, and now any of the following methods may be used in its place to navigate tabs:
    Keyboard: Tab, Shift+Tab
    Gamepad: Open Macros (Ctrl), Open Macros (Alt)
    * Gamepad settings can be accessed via the FINAL FANTASY XIV Config program.
    Mouse: Mouse-over and left-click

    I've never noticed my character running slow and neither did people I play with so idk.

    Amazing how they dodge SP question.

    Well I guess the question about retainers should coincide with the problem of vendoring? Both are utterly retarded at the moment when transfering/selling multiple items.

    Well, in FFXI when I zoomed all the way into my character in third person I got the feeling that my character was running at like 1/5 speed. It might be true.

    Thank god they told us, I haven't seen a computer since 1992.

    Still waiting on the SP rebalancing, though I'm pretty sure that's going to be changed, and rechanged, and changed again

    What's the SP question? Unless you mean the question of why is it so terrible post update to group larger than a handful, people already figured out that there's a bonus being applied albeit it seems kind of awful atm.

    I'm confused why the decision to adopt such high rank requirements in this game with abysmally low skill per enemy is thought to be a good one. I mean XI topped out at 44k requirement and anyone decent was getting that at 250/enemy in standard parties (was it 350+/enemy even with Aht Urghan bonus? It's been so long since I leveled); now we're hitting those kind of numbers almost 20 levels sooner at 80~100/enemy. It perplexes me how the current system is something that even made it into the game; don't get me wrong I like this much more than the RNG, but I'd at least like a decent reward for killing the enemies I'm suppose to outside of leves.

    *Edit*
    I should post that I'm aware that 250/kill and such were at a much later point in XI's life than the first three months, but I still find it hard to believe that leveling was this punishing pre-Zilart.

    I knew everyone talking about -movement speed was high. I didn't notice a change at all and I'm not too retarded to notice.

    I remember JP players bitched about having nothing to do once they hit 50 so fast.

    It's just a way to make the players not catch up. Once they are far enough, they'll lower it again and again and again. Like they did to 1-10 at release and 11-31 last week.
