Gotta Love when someone QQ's about you getting a NM they wanted. Might I atleast say that it started BST/WHM solo, then duo and the RDM didn't show up till just about the time you did, thanks for showing me a macro was broke not switching out my boxer's to my cuchi! As for the Twilight knife it was for the lol's to see how much absorb mp he could get from grah's (since we were sub WHM) and was switched to the proper Reward weapon upon macro. But have no fear little QQer we got two Torques to drop after you left so you can continue your JoF fun with out our oh so gimped BSTs to out camp you, hope you enjoy the continued horrible drop rates on torques and obviously if you were so superior you would have brought a THF rather then a SAM because the MNK alone is enough DD for JoF.

Ah don't have the af3+2 hands yet, but without them the collar does 1 LOL more damage. Thanks for the info though, only intended to get 1 and run the numbers to see if we wanted another since the drop rate is just god awful, got really lucky back to back drops. Hyriu can you move it to Cerberus cause thats where all the fun is? If so the CAN HAZ?!?!? PRZ!

First of all I would like to thank the above posters for pointing out the pictures. I actually have a dagger build primarily neither for Evisceration, or the potential damage. It is for the refresh drain when I am low on MP. It actually stacks with the Mail very nicely and gives very good results outside of Abyssea on /whm allowing me to continually melee/ws/snarl while my MP pool replenishes, and then simply switching back to an axe/idle pet or anything else build when required. Note: This is something I was already using before the RDM turned up killing mobs on the way to the pop. You could argue why not just rest, but I have full dagger merits from THF and find that half decent damage and MP drain while dumping hate back onto the pet is quite useful to speed up the process. You are correct, JoF is not difficult, and we were trying out a tactic that works very well from a thread on ffxiah. The beauty of the tactic is not in the ease or speed of killing the mob, in this case it is just simply being able to fend off competition, as one of the above posters experienced. As a result I was able to hold the NM infinitely until they turned up.

However, to put this into context which it is only fair to do. The reaction from the WHM (incidentally the OP) after I popped it was in bad taste. And that is the sole reason the above post was made by them, not because they had any quarrels with us as players or in terms of gear. Obviously I didn't think to screenshot it as we didn't anticipate you would be this offended by such a trivial and non-current NM. But if I pull from my windower logs in GMT time I see:

Afterall this is a thread for posting gear that is not up to scratch, not an excuse to be derailed because someone did/didn't claim an NM. Peace

I really care very little what Sanjurio, Mitsukai, or whoever else happen to post on BG or shit talk in whatever channel on their free time. If it's not obvious enough, we are different people. I don't much appreciate it when he screenshots me and uses it to answer the morons a few pages back for example, but only because it implies that I give a fuck about it. Personally, I'm most apt to just ignore it whenever they post people in the gimp thread. Heck, it didn't seem to be getting all that much attention in the first place. Despite the fact that we were both after the same NM at the same time, Hollaback and I enjoyed what I felt was completely civil and pleasant conversation for a good deal of time both during the camping and after we left to go kill other things instead. They got both of their torques, and I'm happy for them. If other people want to have an online penis measuring war, that's their right. But I'd appreciate not being stuck in the middle of it

I didn't say it was because you were in a bad mood. I said it was because you wanted to spite them, or in other words, deliberately hurt them. Really, that is exactly what it looks like considering how ticked you were and the fact that there was nothing truly noteworthy in your screenshots, especially after they had a chance to comment on them. I'm sure you'll claim you would have posted the screenshots either way, but somehow, I doubt that.

Also, while your initial humility was noble, saying now that your actions were because you were in a 'bad mood' is just a poor excuse for unacceptable behavior. Just own that you were completely in the wrong and move on.

Provided you have capped h2h merits, hands makes no diff in mnk DMG tier. torque and hands both individually raise DMG tier on h2h skill. Both of them combined will raise it by 2. Any way you look at it, you get DMG+1 for either, or +2 for both.

Except outside of minor upgrades the bottom one is very not gimp, If that bottom gimp was a drop in the drop thread, he'd be a Joyeuse.
