idk what happened with our JPs on leviathan, they've been on steroids lately. the only way I can get them to talk to me is typing in japanese to them; they completely ignore everything else 90% of the time. I would be fine with this, except they seem to be out in droves during NA primetime. last night an entire JP ls was camping on top of us at 5PM est, and it's even worse during weekdays. they're all fucking terrible too, it took them 25+ min to kill empousa.

The only bad thing that's happened in the last few months from NA's is some racist kid stealing drops in exp parties, pissing off a lot of people. Said kid was later denied entry in a pickup group for Pantokrator because he's pissed off a lot of people. His friend took offense to that and proceeded to fuck over the entire alliance by CFH'ing the NM, only to later steal it once it went idle, and wipe after nearly an hour of holding it...

The only thing that could describe that stupidity is:

"How dare you call my friend a thief! I'm going to go beat up that old lady and take all her money just to prove you wrong!"

What get from JPs is an entire alliance moving in on my duo/low-man, and having 5+ people spamming the ??? only to take 2x - 4x as long to kill it with an entire alliance as it does for me to duo.

Obviously one pales in comparison to the other, but we're dealing with frequency here. 1 trio of douche-bags since Abyssea started; vs 3-4 times a day? Every day? Any time of the day? It's like a stabbed with a screw driver once, versus getting stabbed with a thumb tack 2-4x a day, every day.


I wouldn't say NA's are "as bad"... And no one is saying "all" the JPs are horrible people. And to add, this is a very new thing. The majority of JPs on my server use to be really nice, but something about the addition of AByssea has made them lose that kndness.

Furthermore:
Most Abyssea groups I been in(NA), if no one needs seals they check the zone and see if there's a job or seacom that can use em, or shout. JP/NA, didn't matter, we gave em to whoever. We've gotten countless +2 items from people doing Empyrean weapons. I've received lots of tells for seals on the job I happen to be on, not a single one of them JP.

What I DO get form the JPs: crowding, pop-jacking™, taunting/gloating over when they get a VNM over me, ignored, told to <leave>, told to hurry up (ironically when our duo was killing in 1/4 the time it took their alliance....) etc...

Every single day...
And multiply that 3-fold for Gukumatz, Tunga, Heqet, Div-e, and Amun....

Pretty awesome that you can remember that I said that earlier. Not as awesome that people can't put together that, ding ding ding, there are assholes everywhere, and no one group has a larger portion of assholes. SO WHATS THE DEAL WITH JP is not a topic for Media, so knock it off.

The JP population on Quetz is fucking awful. I gave up trying to alternate popping Abyssea nms with them long ago and just spam trade macros when I see them.

I never really have problems with JP players. Some of my best friends are Japanese players. If you treat them with some respect, you will usually receive some in return.

All of mine quit the game and the players left are pretty much the always on spam trade can't proc weakness type now. Used to be a lot better than it is now.

A few mobs later, a guy from the same LS pops one right as we're leaving. Belt is swift, no swaps in about 15s of staring before moving on.
