Makes me wish I had SS'd the convo of Cimime telling me his WAR consistently did 5k+ pentas with quint because the occ. atk.2-5x could proc on each hit of the ws

Doing Orthrus with my shell, only to find this group already popped it. We sit and wait, and they're killing really slow. Naturally, bored, I go check people. There were a couple more than the ones I listed, but these are the biggest eyecatchers.

It's strictly a skillup polearm, notice the epic dmg.

did quick math when it first came out at lv85 that had it beating every other polearm besides mythic, dunno if things have changed since then but wouldn't be shocked if they hadn't.. most of ws damage comes from wsc in abyssea and multihits may have low base damage but the multi hit factor tends to make up any damage lost from plain melee swings

I did OA2 vs gungnir vs quint at 85 with 10-20-40-20-10 distribution. To be fair, things have changed since then(af3 body/hands, 3rd atma, 3rd furtherance) and not sure if anyone tested procrate so it may not still be accurate. If I find myself bored later I'll do them again.

For what eyeballing is worth, I'd bet it doesn't average anywhere near 3 attacks per round.

Probably can be, I know shortly before LC was kicked from out ls he was using OAT polearm and was 5 hitting. I could ask him for his set if you or anyone else is interested, as much of a troll he was, his dragoon was amazing.

There are also several other combinations that work ~ my DRG is 5hit OaT at the moment and it's obscene.

Very nice, his was pre-body expansion so I think it was pretty much that but aurum body and tactical mantle. Still keeping L torque? I don't remember exactly but that seems about right.

Using Almah. Neck is an efficient slot to stick sTP in without swapping Haste.

Oh err, misread what you said. But yeah, I like using Almah cause it frees up Back slot/Haste slots etc. Very overlooked neckpiece.

Am I missing something? I kept adding the store tp value up and I kept getting 44 instead of 45 like ffxiah added up, is there any typo on the equip or is it just ffxiah adding it wrong? And if it is 44, then we have to land all 4 hits instead of 3 on drakes right? Thank you.
