That's pretty cool and all, but you should have brought attention to my level 14 strength ring, or my red mage that had no subjob.

I didn't need to bring attention to the Courage ring as it stands out on it's own pretty easily but yay for you being proud to be gimp, I guess. Whatever floats your boat.

I was gonna say that set wasn't bad because a brief glance gave me 3/5 AF3+2 and AF1 body (so many NINs insist that AF3+2 body or Loki's is better for TPing...), and then I took the more detailed look... poor Kannagi. :c

I was gonna say that set wasn't bad because a brief glance gave me 3/5 AF3+2 and AF1 body (so many NINs insist that AF3+2 body or Loki's is better for TPing...), and then I took the more detailed look... poor Kannagi. :c

i figure with the extra attack you supposedly get with full +2, i guess it might do more than +5 DW, maybe, i cant really test - havent studied - havent looked - it because I don't have it.

I'm honestly not much of a math person in-game myself, at least not when it comes to more advanced stuff like this. However eyeballing it, in order to maintain a full set bonus you restrict yourself to 25% Haste Max (+2 head/legs/feet, Twilight Belt, Tiercel Necklace) and you also lose 5% DW delay reduction. The former is more like a <1% loss so maybe I could see that but then there's the body piece which is what makes me wince.

Since the activation rates for a lot of sets seem to be like 5% with a full set (again, eyeballing... haven't tested NIN's frequency personally, only at 3/5 so far) Only 1/20 attacks will get an extra swing on it, compared to the extra swings you're getting with a lower delay... I guess it just doesn't seem worth it? This is opinion though, I haven't mathed it out, nor do I think I'm capable of doing such. ^^;

Has been tested an "mathed" in several other threads. You use AF(+1) body when you are not getting haste + marches. With Haste, marches and suppa you are already capped on attack speed so, you switch out AF(+1) for Empyrean +2 body.

I figured something like that was the case, but I do a lot of solo work so I didn't anticipate Haste or Marches, m'bad.
