o_O That's weird, on NIN/DNC I just constantly stack Stutter Step and never missed a single stun on any of my Bri's. Dunno why you'd have to zombie either; I always save my TP 'til after a TP move, heal up as needed, Blade: Jin, then continue. If the 1111 Merc gets through, run, and while he's stomping ineffectively, cure self, shadows up, repeat killing when he's done.

I'd imagine a DNC/NIN wouldn't have any problem with Violent Flourish though. Especially with relic body. o_O

Although, after the clusterfuck of a time I had with Bria last night, I might as well add myself to the "wtf is up with phoenix" list. Even being dnc/nin (with relic body) instead of nin/dnc, I couldn't get stun to land for shit and had to zombie the last 25% of one bria and about 10% of another. . . with dnc/nin, thf/nin, and whm/blm (thf+whm dual box'd). I was expecting the dnc/nin soloer to snag both of them, but they were nice and let me keep them. 6helms on 3bria, so not bad, just felt incredibly retarded for the lack of stuns. ._.

However, I was able to ride ichi > ichi weakened on dnc since bria can't hit shit, which is nice to know.

Don't need to Stun. Just eat Colossal and then backtank until uncursed, heal up, continue. When it starts readying Mercurial, start running and only stop if you're sure it's not 1111. If it's 1111, outrange 3 Colossal Slams.

Adding to the "phoenix, wtf, really?" pile. Go to kill some Sednas this time. Get there and a group is fighting the fish for the Key Item, it's at 44%. Lots of dead bodies, no one meleeing, lots and lots of full-timed gear, and a general sense of "wtf".

Incomplete trial weapons, PDT-2% dark rings, much zombieing, and 30 minutes to kill 44% of an NM most people can dual box. When we arrived they said they were taking so long 'cos they still needed red proc. They never got it. Not screenshotted: Racoone /shouting at one of our members to fight Sedna in a different spot 10 minutes after we had killed Sedna, and when said member had been afk the entire time.

There's also no need to run as soon as he Mercurial Strikes. You still have enough time to get out of range of the first Colossal Slam if you start after seeing yourself lose 1111 HP.

this is true, i usually just eat it and read the chatlog quickly, you do not have time to cast utsusemi though, as my death and a sneaky onlooking thf with stun taught me.
