Not really, the premise for this thread is gimps as it always has been. Nobody invited those gimps to do important things like endgame (not counting pick up nyzul or other low end things). I think it's the fact that the game has become so casual, nobody either gives a shit or the gimps are now the "elite" lol.

"Endgame" is just mostly transparent now is all, so you see these people doing everything. If you could peek inside other people's dynamis/limbus/einherjar etc runs your reactions would be no different at 75.

It is true that people are less angsty as a whole though. Not having to deal with HNM drama/stagnation/etc makes the gaming experience a lot more positive.

Holy jesus fuck the amount of white knighting in this thread the last month has been driving me crazy, back at 75 cap I could post somebody in 5/5 usu on SAM and EVERYBODY would agree that they're a stupid gimp. THIS IS NO DIFFERENT, having some good gear does not make it okay for them to have a piece of shit in another, gimp is gimp, shut the fuck up with the white knighting horseshit. If you can invest time to get smite and af3+2, you can invest time in getting black belt, farming gil to buy BB items would take less time than most people take to get a smite weapon even.

No, because now it's the same as grinding a fucking magian trial. People bitched before because you had to be "lucky" to get claim. Keeps KS99 alternate in tact and allows you a chance at kings which I've heard is still >90% drop rate. Wasn't hard in 2008. Wasn't hard in 2010, won't be hard now.
