Random question time: Is there anywhere with updated maps and GUI similar to the Emiko's GUI website? I noticed it hasnt been updated in almost 2 years. Thanks.

It's a matter of personal preference and depends on what you want to do with Dancer. I'd vote for:

I did something different with my merits. My DNC is solo or cure-bitch in Abyssea, and for now I don't have RR/VV/GH, so I've been using Alpha/Omega and Hybrid Beast (which is super hot for TP gain/Evis, lots of 4-5 attack rounds. I need to see if I can get a parse on the DA/TA on those), so not being able to waltz is a big one for me. I have so far done 3 Fan Dance, 2 NFR with the same reasons as you listed, 1 Saber Dance (for a boost to tp at start of fights where I won't need to cure right away), and eventually 4 Closed Position. I might drop Fan Dance to 2 and do 5 Closed Position, but I'll decide that after a few solos after that AGI=Subtle Blow change. Actually, that might completely chance my Fan Dance merits, if it stays overpowered.

I'd recommend going 1 Saber Dance -> 1 Fan Dance -> 2 No Foot Rise and then deciding how you like the merits you've got before you finish them off.

I would also suggest this as a great place to start with T2 merits and see how you use them and what you want more of, dumping extras into Closed Position.

There a list of the job emote items anywhere? rulude has is down atm so i cant just walk up and check. I'm gonna collect em all then do the quests at once.

Yeah, if I played cure-bitch more often I'd totally go 5 Closed Position, 1 Saber Dance, 2 NFR, and 1 Fan Dance, and I don't know where I'd stick the last merit. 5/5 Saber Dance isn't wasted for me. I had to cure for about 5 minutes of my party from 85-90 Dancer, and other than that I rode Saber Dance.
I've got a pretty serious Waltz build, it just isn't that useful over extra damage when you have a single dualboxed WHM cure bot doing all the heavy healing.

well when i do get my dance up to 75+ its gonna be aimed toward solo/duo and when its duoing thatll be with a nin or brd

Anyone have new heroes maps done for apradar yet? If so where can i find them please? Didnt see on windower folders. And wiki has some maps done, but i dont know how to make them into format for apradar.

Can anyone tell me where I could find a complete list of all the abyssea quests (story-related, misc, ops, etc) with their index/ID numbers (i.e. the order they are listed in the quest log)?

POL-Utils has a nice feature for listing all the quests in a particular category, but lacks the category for Abyssea quests. I see people yanking the info out of the dats, so there must be a way to get them.

So I got all the atmas in Abyssea - Konschtat to finish the last of the zone objectives there and got myself a shiny new title: "Visitor to Abyssea". Are there different titles by zones, or are the new titles just assigned by how many zones you finish ALL objectives for? Then, I'm wondering if there's yet another special thing you get from fulfilling all zone objectives for all 9 zones other than cruor rewards.

Probably Almace/STR or Almace/DA. Empyrean got a nice damage boost and once we find the third Lunar Abyssite it'll be harder to pass up on Razed Ruins.

Non-Empy? STR/STR, STR/DA, STR/DEX, pick your poison.

I've been wondering this as well, but I am missing way too many Atmas to find out any time soon. Got all Abyssites, missing like two quests as of last Sunday.
