I highly doubt it.
I highly doubt it.
You don't have a fucking clue what you're doing do you? You can only outrun him (Note: ALL VNMs TII+) using flee speed (Powder boots to get him to a pin spot). Gravity will not land on him. The best way to handle him without pinning it is to force him into 2hr mode asap. Acid Mist will wipe shadows and he spams it as soon as possible. Triple Attacks and Enpoison are obvious threats. Unless you are a DNC, THF, or NIN, outlasting is not not the best option available (Hint: Zerg). Even then, it is questionable considering how good his ACC is and the ability to wipe shadows. In fact, I might even be tempted to drop THF and NIN from that list.
Im not familiar with Violent Flourish but yesterday I tried NIN/dnc on Sobek farming and my friend who is dnc said I will have hard time landing stun w/o DNC bonus from af2 body(he said on DNC he got 10% rate on stun w/o the body). In fact for 6h farm it was never resisted once on Sobek, Minax or Gukumkaz and for me thats best stun I was ever using. I was able to stun Sobek even on his fastest ability. It was changed to higher rate of stun or its just based on some stats and in abyssea they are high enough to make it 95%+ rate of landing? (10% on dnc w/o body comes from 75 lv before abyssea). /DNC would be very very nice with reliable stun, 22 evasion, 5% haste samba, C waltz III, Healing waltz, fakevoke, fakegravity, self Sc with Reverse flourich (Hi-> Hi) or even Stutter steps to make it easier to land stuff for grellow!! on more resistance stuff.
Not sure where this guy is coming from, but Violent Flourish was never 10% landing rate, even at 75 without Etoile Casaque. Having AFv2 body does help a whole lot in landing it, pretty much boosting chance to 95%, but its still doable without it. The stun effect is based solely on Macc, so I'd advise putting macc wherever you can, and then go for acc, since you need to land the actual melee hit to get the stun to proc. Stutter step helps a lot with the stun effect, use it if you are subbing dnc and want the stun !
Keep in mind all I said is from a main job DNC perspective, didnt try /DNC yet to know how strong/reliable stuff is.
Hope I could be of some help, gl =)
How many plates does it take to max out Kon fame?
Just to make sure I'm not being retarded, there's no reason Aqua Gorget wouldn't work for Blade: Hi (Darkness/gravitation) right? or does it need to be Soil/Shadow.
Pretty sure it's the latter, might want to get someone else to check it though.
just got 30/30 glory, and i was pretty set on blade: hi, but i'm starting to lean towards ukkos fury, i already have fudo but sam isn't great at the moment. from what i've seen ukkos is much better than raging rush, is hi about that much better than jin? what would you make first, BG
From what I've seen Hi is far better than Jin. Ukko's is probably far better than Raging Rush too. Which job do you use more? I think Jin to Hi is a bigger difference than Rush to Ukko's.
Also, as I have neither NIN or WAR leveled, I'd do Hi as it looks cooler.
i use them about equally as often really. i'm kind of leaning towards ukkos, but having a monster one hit on nin seems awfully fun too. and yes, i know the cool answer is A. get an empyrean or B. just get 30 more coins and do both, but fuck WoE.
Just finished :Hi tonight, and been playing with a friend who has finished Ukko's. Both are strong improvements, but Blade:Hi seems to make more of a difference to NIN than Ukko's does to WAR. That is, WAR has a solid WS that it can fall back on that is still viable, whereas :Jin isn't so hot nowadays.
Of course I'm completely bias towards nin and :Hi has a bloody golden dragon, seriously.
:hi i would say if you use them equally. on war you're going to be spending more time proccing red !! not using ukkos, and even when you're not, raging rush does better than jin vs NM overall. Plus, it's a freakin golden dragon man. I mean, c'mon!
i did not realize it was a golden dragon, hi it is
ok my turn, just finished Cerastes +1, and kinda disappointed. Has anyone got Camlann's Torment to be worth a shit? Went out to VoS and cant get it to break 1900. I know its strongly vit based, but can anyone lend some tips?
