BRD/DNC with Haste Samba and double marches, hit stuff and stay alive!

Caturae mobs definitely despawn still, they come back pretty quick. LS was doing things in Tahrongi last night and were killing Iratham when we saw it. Twice it depopped before a pull, was back in like 20 min. Speaking of Tahrongi, last night we kept looking for Quetzalli, and saw him alive, just not popped the whole night. Did his spawn conditions (whatever they are) not get changed?

So until I get Gnarled Horn and Razed Ruins, what's the best Atma combo for MNK? I have VV, Ebon Hoof, and pretty much all the NM and mission ones.

I've had good results with VV + Alpha/Omega, despite disliking the HP Penalty. Thoughts on VV + Hybird Beast (DA & TA Minor)?

I went 85>90 last night with VV and AlphaOmega. I was getting ~1200 Ascetic's most of the night, 1800-2k were frequent, I had 4-5 2700+ and 2 3k+. This was far better than what I had gotten on MNK without either of these. The -HP on alphaomega isn't an issue at all, since it was just lolxp mobs.

Tried to find the thread on the attack speed cap, but searching "attack speed cap" didn't work too well...Looking to see if and by how much DRK would be affected using Ridill/kris...I'd done some #s before hearing of the cap and it looks really good, but want to see exactly how good.

You're talking about the delay reduction cap, right? It apparently caps at -80% delay reduction, with Haste + Dual Wield. The multi-hit properties of the weapons you're using won't affect it.

That part is wrong. I always received haste from it, even before I got the only furtherance abyssite I have (which is from flame skimmer, I don't have the scarlet.) It also will overwrite haste, and only lasts 1 minute (which is annoying when you've got actual mages doing haste.) I've never tested the exact potency of it nor the gambir version though.

You're looking at Dual Wield III from /NIN at -25%, plus Suppa's -5% (if you've got it), so you've got room for another 50% haste between gear/spells/JAs. It's fairly easy to hit the delay reduction cap with Haste + Marches.

Thats totaly wrong. Cap is indeed 80% delay reduction but its not stack like that.

Lets say his delay before haste and dw is 500. Cap of delay will be 100.
30% DW - 500*0.7=350
To hit the cap now you need enough haste to go from 350 to 100 which is ~72% haste.

Me and two friends have 5 lvl 85 weapons between us, yet across three different parties we joined only to lot seals there were always the people who did the "What are they for?" > "I want them too, what if I decide to do a weapon later?" thing. When asked, not one person who lotted against us had a weapon at any stage of completion.

Then again I'm on Asura, so retards abound.

Teal/Errant gear to get started. Goliard helps if you have any laying around. AF+1 and some of the relic are good but obviously that takes more work.

People are inherently greedy, last week I was in an exp pt leveling cor from 85-90, feet were in pool so I lotted. Another guy lots and wins, someone asks hey what level is ur cor? Guy replied not unlocked yet, but I may level it sometime... I'd say team up with your 2 friends and just start farming time/gold chests in various zones. You'll get high seals almost as fast as an alliance full of idiots with half afk and build boss/nm popsets at the same time while getting solid exp and some Gil. Hell can even have 1 person at a time sj leech or have lsmates who want to level mage subs join. Screw including other idiots when they're not needed at all.

I use in abyssea:

Rev+2/-/-/Tantra tath
shura/faith/brutal/kemas
KO/Heafoc/Spiral/Rajas
forager/warwolf/shura/tantra

obviously could do better in few places head/legs ect. But i constantly push out 2-4k vsmites on average with normal buffs. Outside of abyssea i use Byakko pants and ginhaku kote and keep rest the same. Would shoot for af+2 head and either usu legs/sarameya legs.

What else can I use to hit PDT cap on SCH? Currently have earth staff (20), ASA pants (4), gonna get a jelly ring (5). Intend to buy Cheviot at some point when I'm not broke from spells/the rest of gearing a new job so that's 34 dy 39 night. Alex earring bumps that to 35 when I can find the people. PDT ring from aby if I can get it is another 5-6. So 40ish. Need 10%.

Oh, we regularly trio all our af3, ki's, +2 items, etc. We were just joining up with alliances so our healer could play around CDC on Blu while getting high crests. We'll hopefully all be finished by the end of the week just farming up time between doing body seals and elemental belts.
